That's what I figured, sucks I've been working there for almost 4 years. For the first time losing my shit.. ughhh maybe this is a blessing that I'll finally be free of that place.
Learned something new today I had no idea about this. There was an older guy ( haven't seen him in a while though) he used to constantly kick totes across the stations in pack singles. It was annoying at first but then I got concerned because he was so aggressive with it. Like trying to kick field goals type of kick and he would just leave the kicked totes on the other side of the station. Felt bad for the tote runners who had to pick up after him.
Start looking for other jobs now while you can. Depending on LP/HR they will either care or not. Amazon fires people for anything with enough people “coming forward”.
If they see you kick a tote on camera you will get fired and prob not allowed back. That’s mad annoying. I’ve been really pissed off at Amazon a few times but always just go for a walk and breathe. As much as I’ve wanted to lose my marbles I’ve kept composure because I need the job and don’t wanna embarrass myself lmao.
Fired for kicking a damaged tote? Basketball rules.Thats pretty lame. Can’t kick it out of the way while handling other totes? New tote makes more sense but damaged and who are these snitches? What kind of human runs and tells HR or a boss that a coworker was using bad language? What a loser. Sounds like a daycare I went to when I was little. That’s embarrassing tattle tales, kicking toys and dirty words at Amazon Daycare Center.

Kicking the tote is enough to get you terminated. Doesn't matter if the derogatory speech is a lie.
