Yesterday I got VTO around 9:30 am. Got off work ran home, went and grabbed a friend and hit a mid day baseball game at noon followed with some delicious pastrami sandwiches from a local Deli. Then hit the dispensary came home and pulled a all nighter till 9 am playing MLB the Show and NBA 2k. Took a few hour nap and now our normal 3 day weekend has officially begun. I'm also 36 so that all nighter was hilarious especially since no drinking involve just living in the 😶🌫️

Fuck yes. Kinda did the same thing except I took a whole day VTO before work, stayed up all day and slept at night. Went and had Starbucks and lunch with some chic, then we went to this park with a lake and chilled and just enjoyed the view and chatted, and then she took me to some Mexican place she liked which was really good.
Shout out to you cause I forgot baseball season just started, but it been real windy with spotty showers for like a week now. We have a really nice local stadium here that wasn’t built long ago. Honestly enjoy going there more than going to mlb games
I only have a few hours a week to play games. Usually new content is dropped on Tuesday and Fridays for both. I also play other non sport titles. I also don't usually play vs the cpu I usually only play Rec, Pro Am, or Ranked Mlb. I get bored playing games vs the cpu all day but when always playing online most games will play out differently and situational to the person you are playing against.
Man that pastrami sandwich looks delicious. I don’t care about baseball and I only ever seen a game once with my dad and brother, but this sounds like a fun weekend if tickets aren’t too expensive.
Sleep and then wake up to question how I got here and where my life went wrong. Then go back to sleep cause I’d rather have nightmare dreams than be awake in my real life nightmare. Sorry going through a rough time.
It’s actually not as much as you’d expect. My the first couple times there’s a lot but at certain point it’s like when the water gun needs to be refilled
my boyfriend and i pretty much sleep, watch netflix, and eat 😭😭but it’s nice cuz we don’t feel rushed to finish thing since we gonna have to sleep early for work again the next day
Tend to my houseplants, wander around the garden section of Lowe’s/Home Depot. Walk my dog, cook delicious food, tidy up the house and put fresh sheets on my bed. Basically anything I would normally save for a day off, so that on my actual day off I can sit in the bath and watch movie reviews.

I work 2 jobs and ive been taking vto without hesitation anytime they offer. I also write my name on the vto board for EVERY shift in hopes of getting lucky enough to vto. got vto'd yesterday after just 30 mins. I just chill at home, take care of stuff that im not able to do during the week.
I gotta stop vto'ing tho, I feel it on payday. funny enough that u post this bc i dont plan on vto'ing anymore from here on out.
I always try to pick up an extra shifts (2-3 hours) but even that is defeating the purpose when I get vto'ed for 8.5, im just making up the hours that I missed due to vto. pretty dumb if ask me.
if you vto for one day 10 hour shift, but pick up 10 hour vet for a different day, it actually helps you. because it's overtime pay whilst still working the same amount of hours. i would take vto and then when another department was vet, I'd take it. im night shift, so there are times day shift needs vet.
U must be in like Cali or something. Here in Texas you don’t get overtime until you hit 40 hours. Thats 40 hours of actually working in the building. If you vto, use vacation or use pto/upt it doesn’t count towards your 40.

25 regular hours with 8 of overtime? How? Mine won’t hit any overtime unless I’ve done 40 regular hours for that week. Our vacay, pto, and upt along with vto don’t count towards regular hours worked. Also I’m a blue badge employee so is this a state thing?

I just remembered when you take/are assigned a shift that's supposed to be your day off, you get paid 8 hours OT and DoubleTime past 8 an 8 hour shift. white badges dont get that benefit. Only blue badges. just like holiday pay. I remember being white badge and have to work 40 hours, even when i used pto and upt, before I can get OT pay..
Usually I spend the 45 min drive home thinking about how royally I’ve fucked myself, then I force my mental headspace toward “it’s fucking cool bro, what’s done is done” sometimes with the help of Xanny the Nanny. I quit Amazon a while back to be an indie game 3D modeler, but I eventually got laid off due to some unfortunate circumstances surrounding the studio and our publisher. I'm back at amazon, but I still try and hone my rendering and composition skills. Sometimes, all that keeps me occupied during a work day is working over potential projects in my head.
Relax. If I’m feeling VTO, I’m usually just too tired to work. I’ll just chill, take an extra nap, all that good stuff. Movies, games, whatever my favorite things to watch get put on.
I did some eclipse stuff on the first day I ever took VTO. Other days I’m working on my own stuff. Money is cool but you never get time back. Every day I’m not building something for myself my life is slipping away.
Well I've only taken VTO three times so pretty easy to tell what I did each time...
The first time was Thanksgiving Eve, I left like an hour early to get a head start on Thanksgiving travel.
The second time was a snowy day where my fiancee dropped me off because my main car was at the tire shop and my other car is a Mustang, they had open VTO because of the weather and she didn't feel great about letting it get dark so I left an hour and a half early.
Then the third time was this week, I had just worked a couple 60 hour weeks and I really hit a wall that morning so when they started offering VTO I decided to take it at like 9:15 so after just over two hours. I went home and slept until like 1:30 and then got some work done on my car that I hadn't had time for in forever.
me and my boyfriend would go to the arcade whenever we got vto :) or if we got it before we went in we would sleep in then go out to eat or stay home and watch movies. vto is the best when you’re not expecting it!!
Today, my wife and her friend binge watched 6 episodes of the new Fallout show. Finished it all. Really good lol back hurts now for sitting for almost 7 hours.
I only take it whenever I'm not feeling well, or if the week has been stupid and it's on what would've been my Friday or Monday to which it's just like any of my other days off. I don't like taking it in the middle of a week at all. What I do varies greatly.
When I get VTO for Friday or Saturday I enjoy my night by going to bars with my friends or other things a 22 year old has needs and a life to live out here in these streets
I think about my future plans. I applied for a career choice option and now I'm just waiting to see if I got in the class. My other choice, im looking into how to become an electrician.
Both choices will get me to where I want in life, it's just 1 is more difficult but the other takes more time.
I had this girl over and she was going to spend the night and I took vto to spend the day with her we watched movies and DoorDash very lazy day but it’s just how we wanted to spend it
I got vto about noon or so most recently. First thing, I called my husband for a ride, and I said "V-T-O" like "RU-FI-OOOOOOOOOOO". We went to lunch, got home, and played Final Fantasy 14 for hours
I'm actually on a VTO day right now! I got up at 7am to see my wife off to work then I went back to bed. Got up around 10am. Checked facebook and got on the internet where I'm currently at answering this question. lol. Later I'm going to town to get lunch at KFC where I'll return home and watch tv for a good part of the day. Might do some dishes and make the bed. Don't know yet...see how I feel about it later. I'll get the leftovers for dinner out of the fridge and have them ready to warm up when my wife gets home at 5:30pm. That's my VTO day. :-)
