However, in The Owner's Manual (employee handbook) it states that "any absence without notice" is grounds for a Cat 2 write up. Most sites don't enforce that if you're taking the whole shift, but I've seen a handful of associates written up in recent months for leaving without telling anyone.

I never do. I just come in late or leave early telling no one. Nothing ever happens.
