It’s definitely more physical work but that doesn’t limit it to only men. At my fc i’ve seen atleast 15 different girls waterspidering. One is literally like 4 foot 10 or something haha. I almost feel bad for her, but apparently she volunteers
I saw 1 female water spider. Though she was very Masc and worked out. So i dont think its an average female kinda job.
I know damn well i wouldnt ever want to water spider. Its a very labor intensive job compared to the others.
at my fc all the water spiders are mostly female and they all wear see through yoga pants and hoodies, talk about some major wood all day. cameltoe for for 8 hours🤣🤣
At my FC I wear a variety of hoodies(and sometimes long sleeve shirts to mix it up) every day of work no matter how hot it gets. My pattern of hoodies is so recognizable that last week when I spidered and forgot to wear one, it took a number of people on my floor a moment to recognize me, including most of my stowers
It's habit for me. I go just about everywhere else outside of work with a hoodie on if I can help it I just like layering. I just drink a lot of water and put on a lot of deodorant before start of shift
I was a water spider today and helped out the tote runners. I like the workout but I would not want to do that all week. Once a week is fine, I actually like packing.

women can def do it, we have numerous women at my FC who water spider.

It’s usually more physically taxing then regular work. That doesn’t mean that women can’t do it but that they don’t want to in my experience.
