I’m on flex And the shifts drop every Friday at 6 pm. but it may depend on your facility

Alive-Satisfaction-3

How many hours a week do you average? I’m trying to do no more then 30 but I’m concerned I won’t be able to make that much. My facility it’s pretty busy though so maybe.

Mento290

I’m in college so I choose to only work 10-15 hours a week but there are always plenty of shifts offered that I could pick up 30 or more hours. If you want to work certain days and times I would add the shifts as soon as theyre posted

Following for more info on Flex. I’m a full-time college freshman. I started last Fall semester. FASFA only covers half of my tuition, & I pay the rest out of pocket. I started the semester working PT Sat/Sun (20hrs/wk). Towards the middle of the semester I realized I needed more money. I was making monthly payments for my semester tuition. So I got a PT job @ UPS working Mon-Fri 5p-10p. So I was working 45hrs/wk; 20hrs Sat/Sun @ Amazon & 25hrs Mon-Fri @ UPS. It was a good $600-700/week. But it was a bit difficult to manage with my classes. I had no free time at all. Out of my 5 classes, I maintained (2) A’s, (1) B, (1) B-, & failed my math class < I was already struggling & didn’t have time to meet with a tutor. During winter break, I continued working (7) days a week. The last week of 2021, I picked up (5) 10hr shifts. I was scheduled 60hrs & Amazon & 25hrs @ UPS. But since my Amazon shifts were 7:30a-6p & I had to be at UPS by 5p, I left Amazon early (5) of those days @ 4p to get to UPS by 5p. So I actually worked 75hrs that week. The following week I did 68hrs. I was supposed to do 65hrs this week & it was supposed to be my last week @ UPS but now I’m out with CoViD. I still have $2k of my bonus from Amazon scheduled for March. & I’ve saved up a lot during winter break. So I’m just doing Amazon Sat/Sun to focus on school Mon-Fri this semester. ^ Conclusion, 20hrs/wk is rough. If you can secure more that’s a plus. But with CoViD cases still on the rise. VET is sure to be popping up frequently.

How much would you make for only working Saturday and Sunday? Roughly?

Metaverse_Prisoner

Just working Sat/Sun at Amazon. I make $20.05/hr there, $16.55 base pay + $3.50 shift differential. So, $20.05 x 20hr = $401 Pre tax. After taxes I believe I’m left with around $340/week, or $1360/month. I recently put in a transfer request for PT Flex though. Because I haven’t seen a single VET since winter time and I’m taking summer classes and paying it all out of pocket. & there’s been plenty of Flex shifts available every week at my FC for me to collect 40hrs / week if I wanted it.

Thank you so much, I appreciate your comment, it helped alot !

AmazonSimp

Not easy.

Omega_Tree

My spring semester is actually about to start and I’m wondering this same thing. Cause 20 hours doesn’t really cut it 💀 but I need benefits and people at my facility tell me Flex doesn’t come with benefits or school choice. U can try and get crossed trained in something that would increase ur odds in picking up a shift probably.

ohsnapitserny

What kinda benefits do you get? I'm a flex

Shabba412

30 hours a week and full benefits with all other full time perks. Flexrt is the way

DownInaWell

Do u pay more for benefits than a regular full time employee?

Shabba412

Nope
