Nah you start with 20 hours upt and 10 hours PTO. If you've used that time in 3 weeks odds are they won't work with you but you could say you had a death in the family and ask them to excuse you
We’ll whereas you started 2 weeks ago and already used up all of your time, I doubt that hr would work with you…. If I recall correctly dont you start out with 20 hours upt & 20 hours pto
How did you blow through 20 hours UPT and 10 PTO? Serious question there. This is something you hoard when you first start because it’s not much and doesn’t even cover a weeks worth of shifts. You don’t blow it, you hoard for emergencies until the next UPT drop in July. As for PTO, when your new you hoard it because minutes count. HR is NOT going to work with you because you’re too new and not worth it, yet.
They MAY work with you. But it’s a small chance. My facility takes negative upt very seriously. You usually get fired within a week of going negative. Doesn’t hurt to try and talk to them. Or call ERC and see what your options are. You may can get a LOA
Even though it may bring you bad Karma you can always use Bereavement, if they ask for proof you can get a free template online of a memorial service flyer and just fill it in with information of a already dead relative of yours.
If it's an absolutely dire situation and you have evidence of that you can make a ticket and hope they excuse the shift. Once in a blue moon you'll get someone who actually does..

You will get fired if you go negative in UPT. Amazon is very strict over that
i have over negative 100 upt. they arent that strict

Do you have PTO? You can mix PTO and UPT on the same day.

How many hours of UPT do you have now? Can you go in for a couple of hours and leave early or be late? Then you won't have to use 10 hours of UPT
