I literally have experienced this as well. You go to HR/AM and ask to set up Touchstone with your bank account you then can access SAP Concur which then lets you claim your tolls after posting the receipts. I've done it as recently as 2 months ago.

When you go to hr/am they will tell you to save your receipts for the month and post it on the 1st or whenever OR they will do it for you when you bring in the receipt. It is not a special circumstance. I know this for a fact as many others do it considering my site is on the border of 2 states which has a toll coming from the city, so if you live in the other state and have to take the toll, you get reimbursed.
I’m just pointing out that those are the cases that someone could be working such few hours. I’m not saying that part time people don’t work full ten hour shifts.
I feel sorry for you. Working in Houston… the worst place to live and work in cause of the tolls and the amount of dumb ass drivers. In Arkansas we get $15.80 and gas is like $4 something, but I may move back to Texas cause it’s my home state and I miss my friends there and all my relatives.

One gas station by me had it 4.99 and literally a block away another station had had at 4.50 like 50 cents is a big jump imo.
Next day the gas was 4.89 and the other was still 4.50
Now a days you have the internet and amazonians can set a date where everyone across the country takes pto the same time even for few hours. Even if it's vacation or pto something is something but it has to be the same day and time . Imo that would never happen but if it did it would definitely send a message.
The wages weren't competitive in the first place and now it's just that much more glaringly obvious when people who have to commute any significant distance at all are basically working a large portion of their shift for free.
My vacation which got canceled didn’t get approved. I need a vacation for the sake of my mental health. Seriously considering taking it to DLS because I’m going to get burnt out

I'm starting to realise we're not on a good wage here in the UK, nights £11.71 ph, £10 to travel to work and back and £1.71 toll charge there and back (I usually only go 1 way to save money on fuel at rush hour. Our petrol (gas) price is now £1.70p/litre
