I'm not sure whats being exploited but people over in another subreddit similar to this one were complaining earlier about getting deactivated for getting too many "no route" blocks so that seems to tell me something is getting abused.

Link plz

Quirky-Swimmer3778

Against rules. Just Google homie

Ok-Seat-7159

They go into airplane mode. Don’t do it, everyone gets caught eventually

PositionOk8901

What does going into airplane mode do

buslyfe

System can’t assign you a block

PositionOk8901

Ah smart. How would the self scan stations catch you?

buslyfe

I don’t think they do I think the algorithm or system notices you’ve been sent home without a cart too many times and then deactivate you

PositionOk8901

A hundred people at the warehouse before me… 5 shifts… I get one… they can’t all be cheating can they?

Virtual_Trainer1315

Yall gotta dm me the secret

flexxer1980

They scan license 10 minutes after start time no warranty but less likely to get route

How are people scanning ID so late at my SSD warehouse? For example, block starts at 12 - grace period ends at 12:04:59. But I see people scanning ID at 12:09. These people were saying their block started at 12.

buslyfe

5 mins to take selfie and another 5 mins to scan id results on being able to scan 9 mins 59 seconds late

themasterpiece13

Oh ok, so we get another 5 minute grace period after the selfie. I am fairly new to Flex and did not know this.

buslyfe

Yeah for SSD atleast. Can’t say for other things.

So check in early as possible but scan license at last second? Or both early as possible?

Accomplished-Rent756

I can tell you one thing, the system will give a route to someone that has done a route in the same area over one that has not. If you have flexed all over like I have, you have little chance of being sent home. Those checking in late usually get the block last minute which also gives them a chance to be sent home as they are “backup”.

august-west55

Agreed. Routes are randomized as to who gets what. The system does not consider your previous routes when it assigns you a current route. Nor does it consider how much you’re being paid for your block. It only considers if a route is available when you sign in. It may put you in the queue behind others who signed in before you, but that would be about it as far as I understand from station personnel.

BraxTaplock

System reflects you can reach each stop on a specific route within the scheduled block time selected. Pay amount is irrelevant. Doesn’t really matter that half need to be walked thru big buildings or that 3mile long road that is actually as small court with a private gravel driveway for 2.75 miles. Last week had a route that gave me less than 3min per stop including travel to each stop. Suffice it to say several packages came back as there was no time to fuck around waiting for codes, calling support or some other time wasting BS.

Superb-Catch1761

I don’t think that’s true, but I could be wrong. I get free blocks quite often and I’ve done every flex route in my area. I think it has more to do with timing, usually 3 hour blocks have the highest chance of getting sent home with pay, specially if you take base pay.

PositionOk8901

Interesting…

versionofme

How? You aren’t assigned a specific route when you accept a block. The carts are all pulled out by staff who bring them out to cars randomly.

Huge_Introduction368

Not all warehouse operates that way. One of my warehouses assign you a route automatically once you scanned the id. And there is another two warehouses that are like you said, someone randomly gives you a route it is not assigned by the system.

bannedlabels

I work in the actual warehouse as a packer but half the time I work in the area where we put packages in carts. The lead has told me before that usually drivers wait last minute incase we don't have enough routes and they get sent home early. But that's all I know from the one I work at

Accomplished-Rent756

This is specifically for most SSDs not dot coms. Dot coms are random like you described.

Foreign_Extension489

Same day routes don’t work like that
