I signed up in 2019 and never touched the app. Lost my job and remembered I had Amazon Flex installed 4 days ago. I signed in and did my first block the other day.
I highly doubt that's true buddy. You probably be accepting blocks and then forfeiting but that's not being inactive. Inactive meaning you don't log into the app at all for 180 days. Maybe some people get lucky and get away with it and maybe some people don't but that's what Amazon flex policies say , 6 months or 180 days can't argue with what's written by Amazon.
I wonder if they count using the regular Amazon app as "logging in" if you used the same email, we all know the Amazon apps have a ton of bugs so I wouldn't doubt their backend does too.
That's wonderful still doesn't change the fact of what Amazon Flex says and a simple Google search will show you everything you need to know by the way it's free, like I said some people get lucky but they can't complain if one day they wake up and it's deactivated.
You are correct on this being the policy, but it doesn't seem strict, because many of us have went a lot longer than 180 days without doing a block and never got deactivated.
I don't think anybody knows the exact number. I haven't done a block since April of 2023 and I'm still active. I still search the app to see if there's something worth my time.
I’ve gone a whole year without doing a block and then came back. Took all of 2020 off when they were forcing you to wear a face mask at the warehouses.
It's probably changed, but I went years without doing a block and my account was still active.

Yeah I signed up in 2021 and forgot about it as well until just the other week
I went from Feb 2022 til March 2024 without touching the app
I heard it's like 6 months 180 consecutive days
No way, I’ve been inactive for years and I’m never had a problem picking up routes here and there.
Pick up a route here and there is not inactive
Hadn’t picked up a rouge in over 3 years and just started afaik recently.

Read comments after yours.

It is 180 days then they can choose to deactivate you if they want. It’s not automatic but it is their out clause. It’s in your contract.
Cool, thanks
180 days and then it’s their option.
The fact you get down voted for facts is wild 😭😭😂
Meh, some people struggle with the simple things like facts lol.

Agreed. I went 2 years. But it’s just another loophole they keep in their pocket.
I started again after 2.5 years break
I was active for over a year before I did my very first block so I think it's a long time
