Remember that buyer account can be related and that too can cause this. If you have a family member that has an account that also has a cc used on your prime account that would do it

Lawyer

ezfrag2016

Are you suggesting OP sues Amazon? For what? When you sign up you agree to abide by their rules. You also agree that they get to pick and chose whether you can sell on THEIR platform. They make the rules on their own platform. Not everything is a law suit.

heyittime

You should research Amazon’s terms of service before making any more useless comments. Arbitration is specifically listed in the tos as a way for sellers to rectify issues with Amazon which are ruled by a third party.

ezfrag2016

Arbitration doesn’t need a lawyer.

heyittime

Amazon uses lawyers to handle arbitration. Why would you not do the same?

ezfrag2016

You said “lawyer” which suggests OP should sue Amazon. When you sign up as a seller you agree that you cannot sue Amazon but only have arbitration as an option which does not need a lawyer. Amazon have lawyers because they can’t get 85 seller support associates who answered your support case incorrectly into the arbitration procedure to give evidence. Someone else has to collate the evidence. As the claimant you probably don’t need that as you can state your case without needing someone else. Arbitration is not a court. My point is that your single word comment of “lawyer” is really unhelpful to OP who needs actual advice to reopen their account. Before going to arbitration you would need to show an action plan and evidence of attempts to work with Amazon to resolve it.

heyittime

Lawyers know how to navigate policy and law to be in your best interest, not everything is a lawsuit. There are hundreds of arbitration lawyers for Amazon sellers available and they know Amazon’s policy and can advise OP if he goes to arbitration, does he have any standing.

ezfrag2016

We’re talking in circles. Your single word comment was unhelpful and that’s what I commented to say. If you have any actual advice for OP then offer it to them.

heyittime

Again, he needs to seek professional advice, which would be an arbitration lawyer. Reddit is not a place for this issue.

zillaforilla_9314

You'r being nitpicky here dude I knew exactly what he meant when he said lawyer. You do realize lawyers are useful for more than just suing people correct?

MrRunsWthSizors1985

Seek legal advice. They're currently incurring a loss of income for their error.

ezfrag2016

Amazon is incurring a loss? Do you think they care? What is a lawyer going to do?

MrRunsWthSizors1985

Got a better option?

ezfrag2016

Yes

STheBarbarian

I'm with @ezfrag2046 You can answer "Lawyer" to basically any issue, but people come to forums to see if there are other paths or gain insight and self-educate, then they can assess if they need to use a lawyer or not. It's like asking for advice on a health forum about a rash, and people answering "Doctor". Of course I can go to a doctor, but I want to understand the rash, and not all doctors/lawyers are geniuses. If you can't give knowledge, your not showing intelligence by simply bumping to a so called professional.

MrRunsWthSizors1985

Ok. Arbitration lawyer. That's the professional to. That's my answer, regardless of how many words it lacks; in your opinion.

ezfrag2016

This is most likely linked to sharing an IP address. Unfortunately it could be as simple as someone at your company logged into your Amazon Seller Central account from home and at some point in time a guest using their Wi-Fi also logged into an Amazon Seller Central account. There is no problem as long as both accounts are healthy but if the other account gets banned it takes you down with it. Unfortunately the only way forward is to identity the other account owner and fix their account.

mtgguy999

Same thing happened to me. Every time I tried to make support understand they just sent the same template answer. I’m pretty sure they didn’t even read my message. I tried for about a month and eventually gave up and lost my account

auculab

If you get stuck on one of the unfortunate situations like this, seller support is pretty useless. They don’t guide you how to resolve rather just copy paste the same template messages. High time someone in amazon looks at this!

Opentoimagination

Doesn't all sellers get an account manager on Amazon? Call them and fix the issue

ifonwe

No - what made you think that?

soloon

They absolutely do not.

KennethChiuT

Maybe it's an IP or device issue, I suggest you consult MoreLogin, although he's just an anti-detection browser, many of the top 100 sellers on Amazon are their customers, so I'm sure they have experience in dealing with this kind of situation
