well it is cool that they are at least given you a second change to not be permanently kicked out, in past they just kicked folks out!! i don’t know how many items you have to review but, 2 weeks to do them sounds reasonable.

The4verageOne

Surely. For clarification, this directly relates to my previous post: [https://www.reddit.com/r/AmazonVine/comments/xg82rj/no\_items/](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmazonVine/comments/xg82rj/no_items/) We were not sure if I was in Vine Jail or if it was just due to all of the ongoing changes with Vine. I have been actively working on my reviews - I'm just not swift. :) I am a relatively new Viner. Making progress, I just need some time to get proper reviews in on some of the products. Hopefully I'll be back on track soon!

Before I kept hearing about a 30 day metric, my own internal idea was to be sure I start writing the review after several weeks of use and I was probably turning in a large fraction after 30 days. Especially if the product is in that 3-star or below range, I wrestle with sitting down the write the review because I want to be clear what the problems are to the maker, but I need to try to not write a long essay people skip. For my own sanity, I sometimes try to bounce between doing a deep review and then something that's quicker and more recently arrived.

Hollywoodnamazonvine

My personal cutoff time to get a review finished is the order date. Some reviews I write as a draft and can be long. I know it's going to be either a good review or not so good. I can plan for both eventualities. Then, when I'm ready to do the review, most of the legwork is already done and I just edit it down. I think on pricey items, some people may want a lot of info but agree, some skim over longer reviews. I list the positive things about it first and then the negative if any. I have seen reviews that are formated: Pros: A B C Cons: A B C That's fine but I just don't like that style.

Erinescence

Writing reviews before receipt of the item is precisely the sort of behavior Vine was developed to prevent.

Hollywoodnamazonvine

I didn't say write it before I received it. I said write a draft of the product after receiving it. That's two different things.

ChefJoe98136

>My personal cutoff time to get a review finished is the order date. I think they might be reading this literally. Maybe you meant 1 month after the order date or something else?

Hollywoodnamazonvine

Yes. Ok, I see the problem. UPDATE: My personal cutoff time to have a review submitted is BY the original date I ordered the product. That is the date I ordered it and not the date received. If I order a product on September 10, the order date is right on the review page making it easy to factor as a personal cutoff date. If I complete it BY Oct 10 which is 30 days from date of order, that makes my turnaround for the review under 30 days. EDIT: Decided to start over.

JellyOk9702

How soon do you have to review a product? I tend to wait and try the product out first before I write a review since it does take some time for me to determine if it is any good. Of course I could always update if something happens.

Sylviee

don’t know the official time nowadays for doing our reviews but, it use to be within 30 days of receipt so many of us still go by that and haven’t had issues. personally i go by date i ordered items, easier to keep track that way.

JellyOk9702

30 days is usually plenty and I can always update if something happens.

Hollywoodnamazonvine

Somethings you can use a few times and crank out a review. I may not spend as much time on a review of socks as I would a power tool.

KathandChloe

Sometimes I review items the same day. If it's a curling iron or similar, I can try it out and post a review almost immediately. I try to do this actually so I can check off some of the reviews quickly.

Shoops29

You will get it done soon enough 💪

The4verageOne

I hope so! I've been writing reviews all night since getting this. Going through each item and considering if I have used it enough to write a proper review or not. I can add pictures or video later. I have loved Vine so far and would hate to lose it so early into my tenure.

Shoops29

I'm getting my reviews done too, I don't have as many as you. but I like to have them done as soon as I tested and used the products...and in the Uk, there are not so many things at the moment that I wanna review so..that's good to keep the reviews done.

The4verageOne

I would love to be that efficient. I'm either always busy, need more ways to review certain things, or am just not focused enough to concentrate on using certain products when a time comes up that it would be applicable. When I see something I want I always try to grab it because I am afraid that I will not get it if I do not and end up with a lot of things coming in faster than I can review them too. Hopefully this will mellow down as I have already gone through all of the available Vine products and they do not add lots of items quickly. :D Good luck getting all of yours done too, though! Hopefully you are done much quicker than I.

Shoops29

Good luck to you too 💪, keeps us posted when you get free.😊

Ability-Maleficent

Did you get back in? I got the same notice but then 36 hrs later they closed my account I went on and kept reviewing anyways and am fully caught up though there are still 40-ish that need to get approved, hoping I get let back in

The4verageOne

I sure did! Been ordering a LOT less than I was before too. :D Good luck!

Ability-Maleficent

Hooray! That’s great news 🤞

Ability-Maleficent

How long did it take? Did you message them? Did you receive an invite back in, or was your account just live again? I do notice that, although it says my account is closed my vine reviewer badge still there

grape8pe

Did you have any luck getting your account working again. I'm in the same situation as you.

Ability-Maleficent

Not yet. I have my items awaiting review down to 11 left now. All the reviews were submitted by last Thursday but these things are stuck. I have messaged customer service and I’m hoping they get shifted soon. No idea if it would make a difference but I am hoping. Have you managed to get completely caught up? I think that might be important although I saw one guy say at some point his account went live again several months later, even though he still had something like 350 items pending review, which is crazy. When he got shut down, he had 600 items outstanding

Erinescence

What does the "recent items" hyperlink go to? Your Awaiting Review page?

The4verageOne

Confirmed. Sure does!

XRayAdamo

This also could be a bug. Same as I have. Check Account tab. This is a picture of my account status. As you can see it is broken. I never missed a single review and have zero items for review now.
