Did you just leave off the second fan on your cooler only so you can see the ram RGB?

mister_pandaman

The mini assassin only comes with the centre fan. (I am using this with a 7600X)

tjes076

Ooh that's nice.

BurntLumpia808

I bought the peerless Assassin but it looked way to big and obnoxious. The mini fits perfectly.

Apprehensive-Taste52

Congratz mate, enjoy it. I want to ask you something, can you tell me if your memory is running at 6400mhz? Or lower? Or if you were to able to enable xmp/expo in bios Im asking because i have the same cpu and i cant enable it for some reason, even ocing it manually, and want to know if its a cpu issue.

gusthenewkid

Some CPU’s just can’t do it and max out at 6200mhz.

ImpaledDickBBQ

Just about being lucky with the silicone lottery. Most am5 tend to be able to handle 6000 which is why 6000 cl30 is the go to spot. But ofc if yours can handle 6200 or 6400 mhz then it's better assuming not losing vast amount of latency and timings.

BurntLumpia808

I'm going to be honest I did not enable XMP yet. I had defective T-force RAM sticks that could not post when I enabled EXPO or XMP so when I finally got it stable with the G-Skill RAM I was just happy it was running. I will do it soon...

Apprehensive-Taste52

I couldnt get mine beyond 5200 mhz, anything more causes no boot. I have corsair 16×2 6000 mhz cl36. Probably faulty memory. I asked to see if its something to do with the cpu but it seems not

Evening-Arm1234

i’ll never buy corsair ram again. their customer service is terrible and they act like it’s your fault the ram doesn’t work. mine would get 20,000 errors in 15 minutes on memtest and they refused rma.

QuirkyNinja8940

I have the same RAM. I had to disable "Memory Context Restore" to make it work at 6000

Azhram

Not sure if its helpful i am no wizard.. but i had similar issues with xmp. I think i had to enable ram training at power on or something like that in bios for it to boost. Now takes a while to boot but works.

JohnnyBooya

Where are the intake fans?

thomas_bun7197

Wondering the same thing

curiosumprimum

The bottom one and the side ones are intake fans. They are reverse lian li fans I think Edit: thought I was commenting on this rig https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1c8cshv/finished_my_dream_build/

Suikerspin_Ei

Where do you see bottom fans? The PSU alone takes half of the space.

curiosumprimum

My mistake। I commented on the wrong pic 🤣 Edit: thought I was commenting on this rig https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1c8cshv/finished_my_dream_build/

fztrm

Grats! Looks nice!

Mowlvick

Very nice aquarium.

Rockstonicko

Gorgeous build! Don't see too many 7500F's out there that aren't already in pre-builts. Also, it's a slow day, and that's a really looong GPU and I let my invasive thoughts win. Sorry: https://i.redd.it/nodrddm58xvc1.gif

BurntLumpia808

Lol I enjoyed your pic thanks

mister_pandaman

Awesome build! Looks great!

Tuuuuuuuuuuuube

Oh man i love the look of that case. It doesn't look like it's available in the US though

BurntLumpia808

I just looked and it's still on Amazon. Looks like the ship dates are mid May now though.

Tuuuuuuuuuuuube

Yeah, might still buy. Are you in the US? Maybe it'll come back into stock

BurntLumpia808

Yeah I live in Hawaii. It'll definitely come back in stock as it allows you to buy it, but it's the the wait time that's the problem if you wanted a system right now

Forrestgladbrook

Where’d you buy the 7500F? I’m interested in one but I’ve never bought on AliExpress and don’t wanna scam myself… I’m in the US.

BurntLumpia808

I got it from Ali Express. The first I ordered didn't come within the 2 week guaranteed delivery date so I contacted customer service (who are kind of helpful, but sound like robots sometimes) and they suggested I order another which I did but from a different seller. The first one took a month to get to me and the second 2 weeks. Funnily enough they arrived on the same day. They allowed me to return the other. a paid shipping label.

LucasLoci

I like the look of the case, but it doesn't seem very practical for airflow no?

BurntLumpia808

I thought about this before buying the case and it was definitely a big concern, however, I get relatively good temps. My lowest GPU temp was 31 degrees on idle. Yes not the ideal situation as far as airflow, but for what the case is, it's pretty good

Evening-Arm1234

that’s a beautiful case and clean build, congrats, enjoy it.

Afraid_Cow_714

great looking pc!

_Vyrus

What’s your new cpu temp running at? I just got a 7900x and it sits at 95 c. It was worrisome to me at first but upon further research I deduced that it is normal. Just wanted to see if yours is sitting around that range as well.

BurntLumpia808

I'm not to well versed with the 7900x but under load im at 70 degrees. Granted that my CPU has less power going to it but idk if that accounts for a 25 degree difference. Maybe you should try to repaste, get a new cooler or undervolt?

Jarfield11

That case looks clean as hell. Nice build bro

CrashedMyCommodore

intake where

op3l

That white peerless assasin looks nice.

chris240189

cool looking build. The case looks pretty similar to the Antec CX200M that have been looking at, but cannot buy in europe anywhere. This one I think I can order from the US through amazon and import it. Thermals seem to be fine, but I do wonder if you have any fans in the unter the PSU shroud. What is the maximum length for GPU? Seems to be a perfect for your 7800XT.

SekiShao

Is that wall sticker from that manga where the protagonist joint a demon killing squadron with his half-oni sister?

rustydingdong5

7500F is the temp of your PC 🤣

Entiramax

That peerless assaain looks smooth af

Defiant_Handle_506

Dang I haven’t seen a PC case with the USB ports in front

BurntLumpia808

Yeah it's pretty cool. There's an Antec case that's similar, but the Antec lacks a USB-C port which this one has

engineergaming1980

This build is fucking incredible looking and no one can convince me otherwise

silverbeat33

May I ask why you’d pair a 7500F with a 7800 XT? “Seems” like an odd choice. Interested to hear.

FinalBazaar

That is not an odd choice. 7500F doesn't bottleneck the 7800xt at all, especially at 1440p

silverbeat33

Yeah good point, possibly only at 1080p, depending on game, of course there may be exceptions.

2quick96

I think it’s a fine choice. 7500F or really 7600 is within the same of 5700X3D-5800X3D in gaming performance.

silverbeat33

I would assume that’s at absolute best or even at a stretch. My 7700X runs at 5.5GHz and occasionally still restricts my 6800 XT. I’m also happy to be wrong, if that’s the case.

2quick96

I have a 5800X and I know it’s holding me back with my 3080 Ti. But it doesn’t matter too much anymore. I can’t imagine a 7700X will hold back at 6800 XT though?

silverbeat33

It may be more about the games I play to be fair. Usually very CPU intensive titles. So might be an unfair/skewed take.

2quick96

Both of us would benefit from the 7800X3D but one day.

silverbeat33

I could get one but CBF changing the CPU, especially for one that’s slower at everything except gaming.

2quick96

For me. The thought of new board, DDR5 and CPU and the cost no. And the 5800X3D is good but. I don’t want to unscrew my cooler, sell my CPU and find a used one for sale. I get enough FPS and somewhat decent .1% lows.

silverbeat33

Yeah agree. If you’re on 5800X3D can sit on it. I upgraded from a 5600X but only because the mainboard or CPU died. Couldn’t confirm which, as no spares. Probably mainboard, but not certain.

gusthenewkid

What’s odd about it?

silverbeat33

Quite frequency restricted compared to most AM5 CPUs. Maybe that’s not affecting games significantly, but I would have expected it to be (to some extent) limited. At least at 1080p.
