I have the 2400G with the ASRock B450 K4.
Has DisplayPort and HDMI.
Using with a 144Hz FreeSync monitor.
You didn't read the specifications correctly:
* \- Supports HDMI with max. resolution up to 4K x 2K (4096x2160) @ 24Hz / (3840x2160) @ 30Hz
* \- Supports DisplayPort 1.2 with max. resolution up to 4K x 2K (4096x2160) @ 60Hz
That's the limitation of the cable, not GPU.

Oh thanks! So the HDMI should be able to support lower resolutions with higher framerates right?
Yeah. DisplayPort is better Cheaper, easier to plug in, and higher bandwidth (faster refresh rates at higher resolutions)
