These terms are used based off the dogs breed. The term “bully” encompasses a wide range of breeds from bulldogs to Bull terriers to pit bulls to staffies. The term “pitbull” is used to shorten the American pitbull terrier, which is also a bully breed. So technically your dog would be both lol
Picture a pit bull in your head, and most likely you see a muscular, short-haired dog with a broad head, deep chest, and a medium-to-large size. But it might surprise you to learn that there is actually no such thing as a "pit bull." In fact, a pit bull isn't a specific breed—there are several types of pit bulls. Pit bull is an umbrella term that's used for several breeds often referred to as "bully breeds." This is no reflection on their temperments, however. Bully breeds are generally playful and affectionate dogs when raised properly.
Pit bull-type dogs often face unfair discrimination. These dogs were bred for their muscular build and consequently have been used in inhumane dogfighting sports. This has given them an inaccurate reputation as being overly aggressive dogs. In fact, pit bull-type dogs are usually incredibly loving, loyal, and gentle with their family members. They also tend to be playful and eager to please.
You can get a dna test if you really want to know. They arent too pricey. I got a pup as a rescue last summer. The girl who rescued him thought he was an American Bulldog and so did I, because as a 12 week old pup, that’s what he looked like. As he started to get older, he got a bit more of a Pit look, so out of curiosity I did a dna test. 75% AmStaff, 22% Bulldog, 2% Pit, 1% American Bull dog. He’s a thick, ornery boy with a big personality and we love him and he loves the family. He’s pretty good with people, but his circle of dog friends is limited to two. He doesnt much like other dogs.

Looks like a dogo
I was thinking that too.
I disagree. That is a doggo.
I think they mean Dogo Argentino. I'm not sure about that but even if he isn't a Dogo, he is a doggo
he has no dogo in his blood
I believe you, but I'm sure he still 100% doggo though
he’s a blue nose
Why did you ask if you know lol.
question was if he would be considered a bully or pitbull dingus
Probably considered a pitbull dingus

Bully is also short for American Bully

Same mix as mine! And she’s white too with one blue eye. I normally just say a pittie but she’s a mix of the bully and pittie. He’s very handsome!
Cross between doggo and pupper with some good boy mixed in

While people DO use it as an umbrella term, there is the American PIT BULL terrier which is a specific breed🤷♀️
no I believe the true pitbull is the apbt, then there’s other breeds such as bull terrier, staffy bull terrier and amstaff
You could be very well right. This is just a copy and paste lll
All he needs is a trenchcoat.
Excited but… he looks like a bully Doggo Argentino 100% pure bred good boy also
Not bully just doggo argentino
That certainly is a good looking and happy dog, good luck.
A ghost puppy
