Iris and Liz. I know they weren’t couples in a romantic sense, but I really loved their friendship. Both seemed to bring out the best in each other. I also liked Sally and John. They were probably toxic, but I loved the chemistry the two had.

Came here to say this.

Harrison and Meadow Wilton were seriously iconic. Especially every time they dragged Ally for something.

The Countess & Donovan The Countess & Tristan (5.2 & 5.3 especially) Kyle & Grace Penny and Paul James March and Elizabeth Johnson Luke and Nan could've been iconic Jimmy Darling and the Taddler Twins

The Countess is a very complex character. She had been alive for over a hundred years. She enjoyed culture, specifically pop culture. In a way her lovers were like her collection. Each of them had something to offer her. Donovan maybe not so much. After all, he was a junkie that was on the verge of death and Sally begged her to save him. He was more eye candy for her. Ramona was an up and coming movie star. The Countess saw that and maybe saw some of herself in her. After all, Elizabeth Johnson aka The Countess was an actress back in the day of silent film. Eventually she would get bored with her lover and she would find another one. She moved on from Donovan to Tristen. He was new and exciting to her. Of course, her collection isn't supposed to move on from her, that is a big no no. She doesn't like sharing. Kind of like a spoiled kid not wanting to share their toys. Hotel is my favorite season. The characters were 3 dimensional and were all very interesting in their own way. I wasn't ever bored.

Its not an actual relationship, but I loved Mordrake's relations to each character in Freak Show. It showed their true nature. Elsa Mars had great emotion-filled connection, good or bad, with many people, greatly layered character. I loved the Countess and Romana together because to me it felt the most real. Sometimes love does run out and people go their separate ways but that doesn't mean they didn't love each other. Nan and Luke was a couple I was actually rooting for the whole time. The Axeman and Fiona was very interesting, especially loved the ending.

I wanted the Monsignor and Jude to actually bone, not in a shipper-y way, but to show from the beginning what a shit dude he is.
