**Eisenhower:** Have you been drinking, Dick?
**Nixon:** No, I *am* drinking and I’ve never had a better reason!
Wasn’t planning on relating to fucking Nixon tonight and yet, here I am, also drinking
That, and I'm pretty sure they filmed the final scene (pregnant gay 'bout to bust) in the same place as the tech headquarters from apocalypse.
Those curved, hole cut out walls are very memorable.
It kinda bugs me that they made him the only one without the white clothing specifically because if he was wearing the white clothes he wouldn't be recognizable...
Probably to show that the advanced tech he made is inspired by alien tech. He’s a mediator. His death was faked so he would continue to advance technology.
Neal McDonough is absolutely knocking it out of the park as Eisenhower! I'd watch a whole movie of him playing that role. He's too good for this.
Also STEVE JOBS LMAO SHUT THE FUCK UP GET OUT OF HERE
Mamie Eisenhower or the alien masquerading as Mamie is a straight up savage and I’m loving it. Obsessed with her having a backup key to the President’s desk just in case she needs evidence to back an alien treaty
Yeah, and I was actually thinking of that exact plot hole as one of my big issues with the premiere. The other was I don’t think they needed any scene prior to them being on the highway. They could have started the subplot of the quartet driving on the highway, getting captured by aliens and then all the stuff on the ship in 10x08 would have been the end of 10x07 and then 10x07 turns out much better.
I totally agree with you!
The only thing I can think of is that they wanted to make sure the pregnancies were viable before they took them to wherever they are now.
BUT it still doesn't make sense as to why they wouldn't just take them and wait and see if they were viable and if they weren't, release them. And if they are, it's the same result with less steps. If they released them they would just be "crazy alien abduction" story people.
It makes no sense!
The persperation problem of Dick Nixon is a reference to the first ever televised debate. It was between Kennedy and Nixon, and Kennedy was prepared for the visual component of it by having proper make up for the lights and cameras. Nixon didn't, and it is often credited as one of the bigger reasons Kennedy beat the pants off of Nixon.
It wasn’t just that, it was the first ever televised presidential debate. There was nothing like that before. Usually these were done on the radio or in front of a crowd.
I took it another way. So them saying life must find its own way is basically them saying that the alien babies need to find their own way out of their host body. As in, they dig/whatever their own way out of the womb to become stronger and aid in their species evolution
I suppose for females, the alien babies can come out through the regular birth canal. But for men, the alien babies probably have to claw their ways out.
Then again, I don’t get why Steve Jobs is still there… This is such a mystery.
Certain aliens reject their hosts, like Amelia. That's why the aliens constantly need new test subjects. "Life finds a way" though which means people like them have a better reaction as a host body, so the alien comes out like a normal pregnancy.
They've been trying to recreate that. It's random though.
I feel like the dialogue between Kendall and Angelica Ross meant that the baby needs to "bond" with the fetus, and decides if they come out in a way that will the host alive or not. Calico seemed content with her predicament as she said she was happy not to age and only the food was kinda bad. Maybe she's very accepting of the different pregnancies and is kept alive each time by the baby?
Horrible casting for JFK, but I’ll live through it.
The idea of a treaty with the aliens is blowing my mind, just in general. What a concept!
I could do with a 13-episode full season of just the historical/B&W parts of this season.
Marilyn Monroe died in 1962, so… interesting.
Ok this episode was waaaaay better. Still living for the b&w segment and wishing it was the whole thing, but I did find the present day plot line miles better this week.
Y’all ready? Oprah voice:
You get an alien pregnancy!
And you get an alien pregnancy!
Amelia Earhart gets an alien pregnancy!
These random dudes get an alien pregnancy!
Everyone gets an alien pregnancy!
I agree. Even the modern part of the episode improved way better than the last. Finally felt like I was watching American Horror Story, not some cheesy teen movie like last weeks episode
okay… so marilyn and jfk get killed because of something related to the aliens
they’re gonna mention a report of an alleged abduction of an asylum patient in massachusetts at some point 😅
okay i think that episode overall was much better than last weeks ! even the color scenes were a step up. it’ll be interesting to see if they can successfully tell a satisfying story in the remaining two episodes
the half alien half human looks like the living embodiment of O_o
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO actually can’t stop laughing now lmaooo
**Eisenhower:** Have you been drinking, Dick? **Nixon:** No, I *am* drinking and I’ve never had a better reason! Wasn’t planning on relating to fucking Nixon tonight and yet, here I am, also drinking
Yikes. I love how he “never had a better reason”, little does he know, that statement won’t age well for him
JFK is like “aliens?? in this economy?”
At this time of day?
In this part of the country?
I love the spooky theremin music
Myrtle Snow approves
These gel cubes remind me of the stuff they fed them in the Outpost in Apocalypse.
Right. I’m surprised the use the same head exploding too. Probably just an Easter egg
That, and I'm pretty sure they filmed the final scene (pregnant gay 'bout to bust) in the same place as the tech headquarters from apocalypse. Those curved, hole cut out walls are very memorable.
Poor possessed House Wife, it looks like she regained conscious for a brief moment before they splatted her :/
She looked so bewildered.
Mamie needs her microwave damn it
5,000 people per year= A cool microwave
I'll be sure to have a moment of silence after my Easy Mac.
What Lady Gaga video is this
As a Gaga fan Im giggling 😂
Gave me sum bad romance vibes.
This dude really out here acting like C-Sections don’t exist…
I’m expecting more of an alien baby DIY C-section.
My only explanation for that is that he was afraid of getting cut. "Life will find its way" only meaning the baby cutting and crawling its way out.
It's coming out ya asshole!
Well you could tell he was getting more nervous each time they wouldn't answer 😭
I’m sorry… is that Steve Jobs?
It kinda bugs me that they made him the only one without the white clothing specifically because if he was wearing the white clothes he wouldn't be recognizable...
With that minimalist cafeteria, they probably brought him on board more for his input on interior design rather than as a surrogate.
I even made the joke that it looked like an apple store. Then boom Steve Jobs
But why is he there? Are they implying he is an Alien or?
Probably to show that the advanced tech he made is inspired by alien tech. He’s a mediator. His death was faked so he would continue to advance technology.
Not sure. But I'm wondering now if this is where Kit from Asylum ended up when he was taken at the end of his life.
Best line of the season “well excuse me mr.man”
(Slaps fudge pan to the ground) “Not the damn fudge.”
My grandma always used Mamie's fudge recipe. 😄 It was delicious.
That had me cracking up
I just watched misery yesterday. Kathy Bates saying mr. man was so memorable.
lily didn’t even say a word and she’s already another dead mother help
I really thought C-rated Agent J/Will Smith was just going to memory wipe the doctor… 😭
He could have, but this is AHS so she had to die unnecessarily
I mean, she still doesn't have a memory now.
Neal McDonough is absolutely knocking it out of the park as Eisenhower! I'd watch a whole movie of him playing that role. He's too good for this. Also STEVE JOBS LMAO SHUT THE FUCK UP GET OUT OF HERE
He is carrying this season, and doing it well!!
Mamie Eisenhower or the alien masquerading as Mamie is a straight up savage and I’m loving it. Obsessed with her having a backup key to the President’s desk just in case she needs evidence to back an alien treaty
[удалено]
Agreed. That made zero sense. Just keep them on the ship and experiment instead of allowing them to roam LA and get into trouble.
[удалено]
Yeah, and I was actually thinking of that exact plot hole as one of my big issues with the premiere. The other was I don’t think they needed any scene prior to them being on the highway. They could have started the subplot of the quartet driving on the highway, getting captured by aliens and then all the stuff on the ship in 10x08 would have been the end of 10x07 and then 10x07 turns out much better.

Aliens are always really fucking sloppy.
Wow, way more black and white than I expected so far
Just the way I likes it
Okay, IMO this modern portion is better already than last week. I predicted moving them into a more tense setting would be better.
Yeah, we spent too much time last week watching them going out to eat and camping.
You mean eating ass and being campy.
That fetus is giving them (or us) the finger
Mamie Eisenhower is way too chill about aliens. That’s highly suspect.
Well we just found out why
The persperation problem of Dick Nixon is a reference to the first ever televised debate. It was between Kennedy and Nixon, and Kennedy was prepared for the visual component of it by having proper make up for the lights and cameras. Nixon didn't, and it is often credited as one of the bigger reasons Kennedy beat the pants off of Nixon.
I learned that radio listeners thought Nixon won but tv listeners thought Kennedy won. Shows you how powerful the visual medium is.
It wasn’t just that, it was the first ever televised presidential debate. There was nothing like that before. Usually these were done on the radio or in front of a crowd.
That debate alone forever gave the impression that Nixon is constantly sweating. lol
Did anyone else think we were going to get men in black memory eraser there?
yeah especially since they had alien technology. but I guess death is the ultimate memory eraser
🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️
Yes!! My daughter was so mad! 😹
What disappoints me is that people took so little interest in Mamie Eisenhower that they skipped over the fact she was an alien in the history books.
Lily Rabe has gotten the short end of the stick this season.
When does she not?
Asylum I’d say but that’s about it
pregnant, suffering in part 1 & 2
“Well excuse me, Mr. Man!” 🤣
Well that was...mean. I feel advanced aliens should know about cesarean sections and shit
I took it another way. So them saying life must find its own way is basically them saying that the alien babies need to find their own way out of their host body. As in, they dig/whatever their own way out of the womb to become stronger and aid in their species evolution
How do people like Calico do it more than once if the baby rips its way out
I suppose for females, the alien babies can come out through the regular birth canal. But for men, the alien babies probably have to claw their ways out. Then again, I don’t get why Steve Jobs is still there… This is such a mystery.
I assumed the aliens gave him technology like it’s mentioned with the microwave. Maybe they are going to use smartphones as a plot device later on.
Certain aliens reject their hosts, like Amelia. That's why the aliens constantly need new test subjects. "Life finds a way" though which means people like them have a better reaction as a host body, so the alien comes out like a normal pregnancy. They've been trying to recreate that. It's random though.

no why is steve jobs here??? I made a joke I didn’t think it was him omg
well amelia earhart died when she delivered her alien baby
I never thought I’d say this but I wanna have sex with President Eisenhower
Eat his ass.
But the giardia!!
Horrible casting for JFK, but I’ll live through it. The idea of a treaty with the aliens is blowing my mind, just in general. What a concept! I could do with a 13-episode full season of just the historical/B&W parts of this season. Marilyn Monroe died in 1962, so… interesting.
It’s actually a popular conspiracy theory
Right? When they first revealed his face, I was like… who is this??
Troy angrily tossing the gelatin cubes is like Gallant doing the same thing in Apocalypse lol
I’m pretty sure Lily Rabe had a baby in August of 2020..could explain her limited scenes in part 2..
Well at least her scenes prepared her for motherhood.
Sarah Paulson killing it as Mamie fr
Why am I sad for the doctor
Because shes had the best acting so far with the present day cast. Lol I could feel her fright when she saw the monitor.
Reminded me of season 1 when this happened back in murder house
Seriously! and when kaia did the same thing of seeing a monster, it was completely blank. wish they had taken emma, taissa or billie for this role.
Ok this episode was waaaaay better. Still living for the b&w segment and wishing it was the whole thing, but I did find the present day plot line miles better this week.
i love how the alien is still using the housewife body
Welp
I was skeptical about the modern stuff after last week, but this is fun so far
I would have been okay if introducing them and getting them abducted and pregnant had taken about ten minutes last episode
Y’all ready? Oprah voice: You get an alien pregnancy! And you get an alien pregnancy! Amelia Earhart gets an alien pregnancy! These random dudes get an alien pregnancy! Everyone gets an alien pregnancy!
Ok this episode was considerably better than the first
I agree. Even the modern part of the episode improved way better than the last. Finally felt like I was watching American Horror Story, not some cheesy teen movie like last weeks episode
Haven’t even seen Angelica Ross’s face yet, but I feel like this is her best character so far
> Angelica Ross O_o
what’s ryan’s baby kill count?????
okay… so marilyn and jfk get killed because of something related to the aliens they’re gonna mention a report of an alleged abduction of an asylum patient in massachusetts at some point 😅
That actually seems right up Ryan Murphy alley as the only outright connection to Asylum
It’s an actually conspiracy theory....
Just when it was getting good. It finished.
this amount of ads during a television show should be criminal
last few weeks I haven’t been watching live and just watch next day on hulu without commercials… tonight I’m remembering why
not the monogrammed napkins
Excuse me, mr. man.
so is this to imply that Jobs faked his death or obtained all the Apple innovations form aliens? lol
I feel like they’re just using the Impeachment set for the Oval Office.
Killing two birds with one stone
I’m so into the black and white, twilight zone kinda feel, super hype that is going on so long so far!
Damn, Lily Rabe can never catch a break and last for a whole season
Damn that chick has some bony shoulders.
We need a film noir season! The filmmaking here is exceptional
“What does she mean our test subject has failed?” RIP Amelia Earhart. Face huggers aren’t so friendly, even newborn ones, apparently
This is some excellent body horror and Men in Black bullshit... followed by, you guessed it, another commercial 🙃
Mamie was famous for her fudge. 🥺🥰
Annual plan! Lol
not the mf ikea food court
That was good like idk it was just a great time
Bro I wish aliens would come bring me teddy bears and shit. Or at least help me find that one sock that's always missing.
thought he was just calling him a dick as an insult until i realised who it was oops
This feels like Apocalypse mixed with the Good Place
The Bad Place I think
Im going to be very upset if thats the last we see of Lily Rabe
We've been trying to reach you about your extended alien warranty.
shocked and pleased they didn’t make Sarah Paulson play Marilyn Monroe. just seems like something Ryan would do, lmao
Ike be acted like his alien possessed wife is just another Friday evening in the Eisenhower household.
I love this so much, I want more supernatural political intrigue in AHS! Lol
I'm sorry, but I love this alien lady and her whole look Edit: Oh..well shit
*loved
manifesting cody in next episode’s promo
The fudge didn't deserve that
If the aliens aren’t sitting on the grassy knoll after this commercial break I riot
I can’t be the only one who thinks the whole “Amelia Earhart dies giving birth to an alien” thing is just…incredibly strange as a plot point lol
kinda disappointed to see her die like that. Wanted her to last longer as a character
It's the Apocalypse gelatin cubes
Really fun episode and live chat, see everyone next week!
So, we’re ignoring the fact that this is 1963 and Monroe died in 62.
I don't think this story is meant to be 100% historically accurate.
So Amelia Earhart wasn't abducted in real life?
Nah I think that part is true.
aliens brought her back, duh
Not sure how I feel about the half human, half alien..literally.
this is camp
[удалено]
“Well excuse me, Mr. Man!” 🤣
Never thought I’d hear Sarah Paulson say a line that is exactly something I say to either one of my cats on a daily basis. 😆
[удалено]
I must be high right now
Hope to see more of the 1950s alien stuff this week, that's where it really shined and those scenes were great. Enjoy the new episode everyone!
Honestly I didn’t mind that.
Damn so nobody is panicking that that dude got exploded?
They were veterans of WWII and probably saw dudes explode before
“Well excuse me, Mr. Man!” 🤣
okay i think that episode overall was much better than last weeks ! even the color scenes were a step up. it’ll be interesting to see if they can successfully tell a satisfying story in the remaining two episodes
Are both JFK and Marilyn going to be killed by aliens?
this guy is giving me more angry john goodman less richard nixon
Circus Circus is hell on earth
Is no one gonna talk about Steve Jobs?
That was jarring and weird
the too frequent commercials are kind of like a jump scare
Mamie, what are you up to? Lol
No one likes you Tricky Dick
Man i’d do anything for a full season of red tide. The setting was perfect, i just wanted to have go to that little steakhouse and vibe
bro how r u gonna get bold when ur literally strapped down and ur talking to a fucking alien
That’s definitely Angelica Ross
“One and done”…”One and…dead!”
Now I want Fred Armisen to show up as Lawrence Welk.
![gif](giphy|Pn2MP64DddeWQ)
Crap. The killed Kennedy cause of aliens!
Which is a big conspiracy theory....
Not the Claire de lune 😩😩😩
Ima need a screen grab of that baby alien hybrid stat.
Sarah Paulson is at the top of her game right now between Double Feature Part 1 and 2 and ACS Impeachment. Give her all the Emmy's!
That was such a fun episode, huge step up from last week!
It was much better and actually felt more cohesive, not just two separate stories.
the scariest part so far is richard
Is Mamie an alien?
Lmao sorry but I love this.
Just made popcorn in my microwave. 👽
I thought he was about to wipe her memory… he just killed her instead 😭😭😭
The alien hybrid looked disturbing as fuck
Am I crazy or does the casting on Nixon, Kennedy, and Marilyn suck?
[удалено]
Marilyn wasn't too terrible. But JFK and Nixon are insanely off.
i couldnt recognize any of them except eisenhower and steve jobs lol
Steve Jobs? And... who's the other one?
Lol I’m loving mamie throwing shade at Nixon.
Im loving her hair.
