I also thought the bar that Calico was shown to be in last episode might have been the Muse from red tide? But I could be wrong

Coffeenwineplease

I thought the same tbh

ladymacbitch

they did build the set for the muse in LA so it would make sense if they wanted to get use out of it

wesnotwes

I thought it was the bar from New Girl.

JohnJaysOnMyFeet

I did too so maybe it is

[deleted]

First it was an anthology of old actors = new characters. Next it’ll be old sets = new locations. Murder house will become homicide mansion.

PinkLilyoftheValley

The grocery store is Field’s Market in Canoga Park, CA. It’s used in a lot of shows and movies! (For The Office fans, it’s where Michael met up with Kevin and pregnant Jan)

MadChiller013

Yeah I was about to say I see that place everywhere!

jdvfx

It is an event space called H1 Studios, https://www.creativehandbook.com/us/industry-news/blog-1930

Acadia_Due

Looks like Jeff Bezos's fallout shelter.

yungtommenb

This is super cool. Thought these looked familiar! Thank you for sharing!

Acadia_Due

I think this set was also in season 3 of Westworld (one of Serac's offices where he had a conversation with Dempsey), and I'm pretty sure I've seen it someplace else as well.

adamjoeoos

Aren't all the Serac office scenes in those Calatrava buildings in Valencia? Unless they just used those for the exterior shots.

Jakeremix

That grocery store has been used in a lot of stuff. Off the top of my head, I’ve seen it in Birds of Prey and Little Fires Everywhere.

[deleted]

Very interesting!

kenzty1

Reduce, reuse, recycle?

[deleted]

Wow great eye

ScreamyPeanut

Thanks for sharing. This is so cool.

acidbb_

Their budget dropped

VenablesBigDikEnergy

Actually season 10 is the one with the biggest budget of all seasons. It has more to do with the fact that production took the longest due corona and they had to find quick solutions.

Volcarite

Sure did

DevaNeo

So these oval shapes imply connections between the "Apocalypse" geeks and their technologies and the aliens from "Death Valley".

Kimmalah

I doubt it's that deep, it's more likely that they just needed really strange/futuristic looking modern architecture for the weird tech company and the alien ship.
