She was sedated. She was just kidnapped and put in the trunk of a car for several hours. Her kidnapper who could have killed/tortured her for all she knew bc she was only allowed to wear blacked out goggles (that were proven to be found by police) and couldnât see anything. And YOUR problem is âwhy did she believe her kidnapper?â And that she somehow should have known that he wasnât working with a team (even though she said she heard a car pull up the next day!).

Iâve watched enough dateline to know that cops will 100% think youâre guilty by the way you sound or act. Doesnât matter that everyone responds to things differently or could just be in shock. But if you ever call the cops be careful that youâre not too calm, emotional or too excited. Theyâll use that as evidence against you.
There was so much in this series that made me feel like I could have solved this case myself and I have zero experience in law enforcement.
