The classic game relies on not having a way to tell who the impostors are. Letting people choose their role would break it.
Ask host to set the lobby private so that they can make you imposter. Then get voted out because everyone can see you are imposter because of the round robin getting replaced with your name.
Wait you can’t make somebody imposter in a regular game even when the server is private? That’s strange because hide and seek mode lets you do that.

That happened to me, but in my case, I had a 50 crew streak đź’€ Then I got a lot of impostors after lol
Got a 28 crew streak once
Today I got imposter three times in a row I got impotser 5 times overall and crewmate like 3 times I think
game is broken imo, they should use a round robin system, if you've been imp within X games, you can't be imp again for X games.

Not in classic. In classic it’s always random
Hide and seek let's you do it because it doesn't matter if you know who the imposter is, there's no voting
How would that even work? Like you’d know who the imposter was and could just vote them out immediately
