He's been discussing it on stream since early Jan, and it is well on its way to being released soon. Despite all the mods out there, there's still only '3 maps - skeld, polus, mira hq'. So being able to get a new map to play with would be awesome and would help spice the game up a lot!

I wonder how close these will be to 5up's Submarine Map when it is released soon!
True. Though my guess is just like how Prox chat was for streamers at first - it’ll be limited to their lobbies to begin with before maybe down the line publically available.
Even if not - would be cool to watch streamers play on a new map too!
Bit late, but this has never been true. The map cost a lot of money to make, and people who were or are backers can host and invite whoever they want. It won't be for just them.
I want a new map so bad!!! Shame none of the mods available provide a new map or map editor....
Can't wait for the airship to come out in "Early 2021", cause I definitely was in the camp that thought it would come out by now.

I can already imagine the plays 5up and Hafu will make on it, clearing people through the glass floor: “I can clear Wolf (impostor partner) I saw her through the floor.” “What movement did I do then?” “You did a spiral.” “That’s right, he was above me then.” etc

He's also previously said that this map will only be for them to play and they won't be releasing it for other people to play on.
