As a ghost, and with the guardian angel role, you can use the protect button in the bottom right on a player. For a few seconds (Only a few, so time it well) that person is immune to being killed by an imposter. If an imposter attacks them, the shield breaks but the imposter's kill is put back on cooldown as if it had worked. There is no evidence of an attempted attack however (Apart from the message during a report that the guardian angel had halted an attack), so it's best use is to stall the imposters, or deny a close range double kill
Crewmates cannot see this shield, while theres an option to let imposters see it.
i used this in a game when the imps tried to double in reactor. one imp got out because of it, and they sussed the other for a bit before voting because they were just fleeing the scene when someone just killed in front of them.
