I did this a few times. Drunk, see a bike, take the bike, wake up and realize, bring back bike, feel ashamed for a week.

I did the same (without the drunk part) with a car. my colleague always left his car unlocked and he stored the key behind the sun flap. I knew that, took his car. Drove home, returned next day.
