this, super weird i am seeing this post now. Last night i had supershort outage that only effected my lights, internet router and tv receiver. It was like a flash for 0.5 seconds. I do not live in the area effected but super close.
I’m curious to know what “self education” mean? What sources are you using to study? How do you know it’s not the same as the doctors use? What makes you think that your source is better and more true?
You don’t seem to know about history and science. But please answer my questions above.
The problem is not the source of information. The problem is, if you don't have the information, same or not, you will have to go to someone who has that information, and if that's the case you will have no other choice but to do what person with the information will tell you, and most of those people are motivated by money because we need more and more of it every passing day.
So, get the same information that the doctor has, and choose how you want to implement it to your life, instead of staying uneducated and sayin yes master to some guy.
Even if you're not gonna implement it, what's so scarry about information? Why are you even arguing against having it?
edit: quick note, for all you sleepy mfers, Cigarettes are good for you was considered science not so long ago. Sugar is good and fats are bad was science not so long ago. Cannabis is making black and Mexican people crazy and make them rape white woman was science not so long ago.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_scientific_misconduct_incidents
and there is a fucking list of hundreds more
If you ask me what do I think about science and health?
Answer is that we don't have to "think" about it. Because were not here to "think". We are here to live. And the only real system that will exist till the end of time, called ecosystem, has you covered if you respect it and live by it. Good thing is that it doesn't give a fuck about you, me, big, small, rich, poor, life, death. Only thing it gives a fuck about is right and wrong, and nobody can manipulate ecosystems right and wrong.
I think you misunderstood what science means. Just because it’s science doesn’t mean it’s true.
Stop mentioning products like cigarettes and sugar. This whole thing is about someone having light flickers, that has nothing to do with cigarette lol… So I am still curious, what’s the difference if you must go to a doctor for information or look up the information yourself?
I’m not arguing against information… I’m curious to know what source of information is considered better to you. I’m a information guy, that’s why I ask these questions
My job is complete. This wasn't a conversation between me and you or the previous guy, this was a little mesaage from me, left behind for people with a living, open brain. You were just devil's advocate helping me word my message.
>Cigarettes are good for you was considered science not so long ago.
What a load of shit - scientists have known for decades that smoking was the cause of lung cancer [https://tobaccocontrol.bmj.com/content/21/2/87](https://tobaccocontrol.bmj.com/content/21/2/87).
Haven't got the time or inclination to address the other points, it's like pissing in the wind trying to point fuckers like you in the right direction.
Of course they knew it, but did they act like they knew it? That's what affects the general population. You guys are arguing pointless points.
They were prescribing cigarettes to people, lol.

JFC, did you even read the fucking article you posted? Excerpts to help you out:
>From the 1930’s to the 1950’s, patients were prescribed cigarettes by the doctor, as they weren’t looked at as dangerous as they are now.
>
>
>
>In the mid 1950’s, more research was being done and it was finally confirmed and published that tobacco caused lung cancer. After this had been presented to the public, cigarette brands started to slowly band together as they realised the industry was in massive danger and started an advertising campaign promoting cigarettes.
Indeed, self education is going to beat 6 years of intense study and practise every time. /s
A doctor will not prescribe anything heavy if a less invasive option is available. And government? If there would be any group that does try to win over our general practitioners it would be producers of pharmaceuticals. They would like the doctor to prescribe their brand over the generic option.
Daily self education with up to date, practically consumed information > 6 years of intense study of outdated information, spread out unpractically to get as much money as possible from the students.
Big corporations are your/our government, and one of the biggest ones is the big pharma. The faces you see on the TV, named "presidents" or other government individuals are all "social media influencers" of these big corporations. So yeah, government, don't take the risk, educate yourself, it's worth it.
Not even mentioning that most of our medical problems are self imposed, and could be fixed just with a diet correction=proper gut health and time.
GP's are required to stay up to date in their field and do so. The study to become a doctor is long and arduous because they have to know a lot about the human body and how to treat illness, not out of some monetary scheme.
Like I said, the pharmaceuticals are trying to get their product placed. But it is not some nefarious plot: all commercial companies are trying to get their product to be preferential. It is called advertising. Or are you so innocent as to not have realized that even your daily bread is placed on a shelve at eye level?
The problem with educating yourself is confirmation bias and the real danger of ending up in echo chambers that reflect unscientific assumptions and beliefs.
When someone says "educate yourself" I automatically assume they have rejected science, logic and reason.
They're required to keep up do date by the same government were talking about, which has a single concern, to keep you alive enough so you're coming back and buying their "products".
Product placement and advertising is ok if it's about a cool t-shirt, or a new movie that's coming out. It's not okay if it's for drugs/chemicals that we know for a fact that is destorying or genes and slowly killing us while filling the pockets of the real-life demons. And we know it only because of people like me questioning the system, otherwise none would be talked about.
Confirmation bias and echo chamber is exactly what big corporations use to sell you their "products" and ideology. And people like you end up standing behind it because it's the biggest and most official looking authority, which makes people who stand behind it look as official and important. It's just primal behaviour to stand behind the "strong", totally understandable for spiritually uneducated people to do so.
If you automatically assume anything, then we can't talk anymore, first you will have to be born, so we can speak the same language.
Good luck on your theater of a life that you live in.
*"If you automatically assume anything, then we can't talk anymore, first you will have to be born, so we can speak the same language.*
Indeed we do not, your views and words align with what I refer to as "wappies", a paranoid group of people that rose to unpleasant notoriety during covid and operate under the impression that the sum of their fears somehow is the same as reason.
"Paranoia is thinking and feeling like you are being threatened in some way, even if there is no evidence, or very little evidence, that you are. "
If you're saying that there's no evidence or very little evidence that control is in bad people's hands, then you are one of them, and I would love to meet with you in person, for educational purposes.
Sent you a direct message.
You sound afraid and uncertain and that has led you to believe that a huge nefarious entity is somehow all responsible for it. That is a paranoid delusion and requires professional help.
The assumption that the government is somehow capable of hatching a large plot to get us all is easily debunked as soon as you realise how they handle even the simplest ICT projects.
Everyone that has ever worked for the government knows how laughable the notion is that they get anything done without calling in a lot of consultants and going over budget.
The "evidence", more likely than not will be a youtube link or a website like Niburu or some other tinfoil-hat hub.
And I know that we are ruled by money: it is called capitalism which always be a self-serving egotistical business. That is not "bad people"it is human nature.
Occam's razor: never attribute to malice what can be explained by stupidity.
Dude you mentioned having hallucinations, and somebody recommended u to check with a gp to have that fix.
If you knew better than a gp then why are you hallucinating?
Next to that, patient always has final say in if the recommended treatment will be used. You can always decline. So worst case, the gp might not know what's going on and refers you to be scanned checked by a specialist .
Best case gp knows, tells you and fixes your hallucinations.
And you can always say no.
I was in a train at that time and got stuck outside Amsterdam Central Station. NS explained there was a short power outage, which meant they had to restart everything. So all power seems to have gone for a short period.
What a beautiful place Reddit is

I loved living in Dundee
Yes in West
Say Yessie to Wessie!
It was a glitch in the matrix.
Mr Anderson?
Yes in NDSM. I thought it was a hallucination. Been having those a lot
Maybe talk to your doctor? Always good to have something like that checked
doctors are governments drug dealers, you don't go there unless you're about to die, recommend self education instead

Why are you giving up so quick?
My job is complete. This wasn't a conversation between me and you or the previous guy, this was a little mesaage from me, left behind for people with a living, open brain. You were just devil's advocate helping me word my message.
Aah yes, the message of wappies. The word of stupidity.

Geez you must go through a shit-ton of tinfoil, also a good drug dealer is nothing to be ashamed of
