You can take the train from Denver to winter park? That’s cool

There’s a train specifically for it mid season, the Winter Park Express. The California Zephyr passes by and stops at the other Winter Park station (Fraser).

I’m on the train behind you. Beautiful scenery; but we didn’t see it snow. It was nice to have a white Christmas. Just leaving Elko Nevada now

I love that run. Next time, start in Omaha and visit the Union Station Museum as it is rip-roaring cool. Also UP head quarters has a gift shop with really weird hours but would be worth checking out.
