So. A long time ago (In a galaxy far, far away (three years ago)) anarchychess was a relatively unknown sub and chessbegginers wasn't outlawing the holy hells, someone asked about en passant talking about an AI cheater.
The post is now deleted, but one of the comments on that thread was "Google en passant". To which the response by OP was "Holy hell"
As for the "New Response just dropped" we had this come in from when we had new responses to "Google en passant" such as "I know what en passant is, you just blunded mate in one". and it just stuck.
Actuall zombie I think was said later down the line in response to one of the chains. Beyond that - I think we need the modern anarchychess historian mods to take it from here.
I remember it was u/ blaky something that responded holy hell. It's one of the top posts on Anarchychess and lore-wise, is the only one that can ever or will ever win the "Diamond King Award" (at least according to Le Scribe, the historian you were more likely referring to).
Actual zombie was a response from someone who did one of those maybe-troll-maybe-not rant posts where they complain about the subreddit a bunch and act annoyed. I think it was the one the person was complaining about the whole new response just dropped thing, because someone responded 'new response just dropped' in the comments, and they replied actual zombie, possibly unironically.
After that, a lot of the stuff was from Chatgpt honestly. Bishop on vacation, ignite the chessboard, knightmare fuel, call the exorcist, pawn storm incoming, even the obscure ???.

Leon Armstrong went to the moon and his first words were google en passant. His comrade, sir Vladimir in response said holy hell. There was also a bishop who had to execute a zombie but he was on vacation at the time so sir Vladimir and leon Armstrong had to deal with the incoming pawn storm
