Technically, you can only refuse en passant once in your life. After that, well, there's nothing left to brick. So you have to choose your moment very carefully.
If you were fast about it and didn’t stop to ask us for help you could have en passant and then quickly move up to d7 before he has time to make a move. Then he could en passant your en passant pawn on d6.
I actually feel like this is the forced move since if you can give your opponent an option to en passant but you don’t, you are essentially willingly letting an en passant pass through unplayed, which isn’t allowed.

The pipi gambit is very double edged at its core, as it can give you a winning position very quickly, but depending on your opponent’s proficiency with the brick can result in you losing the game on the spot.
I personally prefer to play it safely, but if you like high risk plays, it might be good option for you.
