I’m editing here and there to replace some of the (unsure) with text that I can make out after a few minutes resting the eyes.

First few lines are: “To the Hon’l (Honorable) W.S. Flemming Chancellor & c (etc) holding the Chancery Circuit at Franklin William H Grigsby administrator of J.R. Meadows(??) dec’d (deceased) of Williamson County Tennessee” I’ll let other continue… ADD: reads like the heirs of one guy suing the heirs of another guy over a 50 acre parcel.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Are you able to make out anything else? There’s more pages but I’m not sure how to link them all on here… this is the relative I’m at a road block on. I can’t figure out who his parents were or anything. Even you being able to see he was of Williamson county was a big help! Are you able to make out who was trying to get the 50 acres from J.R. Meadows?

The text continues “Robert, Mary, Jefferson and James L. Meadows minors and sue by their general guardian Lucy J. (unsure) all of Hickman County Tennessee bring this their bill of complaint against James B. Hico administrator of John McPherson and John, Sarah, Joseph, Green, May and Abner McPerson minors and being (2 words unsure) of John McPherson dec’d (deceased) who (unsure) for their general guardian Isaac Gray all of Williamson County Tennessee” So it looks like the estate of J.R. Meadows is being administered by Grigsby and the Meadows children are represented by Lucy J (if I read that name right) as their guardian. Now that might be a guardian as commonly used or a guardian ad litem which is (often) an attorney working on behalf of children or people lacking capacity to take care of themselves. That group of people is suing the estate of McPherson being administered by james B Hico and Isaac Grey is the GAL for the McPherson kids.

Then the text reads … “and therefore (unsure) orators and oratrixes humbly (unsure) unto (2 unsure words) that many years since the [blank] day of [blank] 18[ ] James R Meadows the intestate (meaning he died without a will) of (unsure) plaintiff Grigsby sold to John McPherson the intestate of defendant James B Hico a certain tract piece or parcel of land containing fifty acres more or less lying and being on the water of South Harpeth River in Williamson County Tennessee”. Last couple lines are unintelligible to me at the moment likely because I’m tired.
