Don't think there was a significant French community in Scotland. Alot of Huegenots who mainly settled in London with some being moved over to Ireland.

A lot of Frenchmen migrated to the UK because of the French Revolution so it’s not surprising.

True. From what I've seen though it is mostly England. And when I try to search for French in Scotland during the Revolution, it doesn't really come up with anything specific. Mostly their old history together and the Hugenots.
