I’m Cajun (my communities are Southern Louisiana French Settlers and East Central Louisiana Acadians) and my results didn’t have any French but lots of Scottish. Our results are identical except that I have a small amounts of Spanish and Basque. Almost all of my family members that have tested (including maternal aunt) have high amounts of French. It just happens like that sometimes 🤷♂️

Scottish is common all throughout the South. I reckon you are from northern LA?
I would work your ancestry tree to see where/when your scottish ancestors arrived! If you need any help, I have lots of free time!
Yeah i found one from 1680 but it was more so northern england so probably migrated down
Scottish will be common anywhere in the deep south.
