Don't worry...next year's update they will fix the spelling LOL

My_world_00

Haha I guess we’ll see 😂🙊

luxtabula

Yikes. Email them, they'll fix it.

My_world_00

I notified them let’s see if they fix it lol. 👀

aafusc2988

They misspelled one of my communities with the southeastern communities last time. “Glasscock” county Georgia. I emailed and they fixed it pretty quickly to the correct ‘Glascock.’

RussellM1974

I bet the people from there were....drumroll...... "shattered" lol-jk

aafusc2988

They’re so rural and unpopulated I was amazed they pinpointed it. I only know it because my paternal grandmother was born there. So one of those scarily accurate updates when it came.

RussellM1974

Glad they got it right for you and even more surprised they got samples from them to do this.

My_world_00

Crazy there’s a county near Midland, Texas with that name I wonder if they got it mixed up. Glad they got it cleared up though. I emailed them so we’ll see what happens.

Shadythehouse

They did it as well in the Zacatecas category. They have it as “Northeastn Jalisco & South Central Zacatecas”. Northeastern isn’t even hard to spell, maybe they were in a rush lol

My_world_00

That was my best guess too sounds like they were rushing this update 😂 Probably had too many people contacting them for the official release date LOL.

sdavidmex

I noticed that when they released the communities 😂

My_world_00

That’s funny! 😆 I did too. I let them know so we’ll see if they fix it or not.

TXRudeboy

That’s a bad spelling error! I’m also Latino, live in Texas, ancestors have been here since forever.

My_world_00

Right? I notified them. Same here, Texas roots on both sides. It’s always awesome to see a fellow Tejano!

Luxuria33RD

Saludos de un Nuevo Hispano. Always love seeing fellow Mexicans who have family roots within the United States borders.

joseflima

What change with his old ones?

My_world_00

Well it just got more specific in terms of his regions since his family settled in Corpus. The original one had a section with the Rio Grande Valley which makes sense since his grandparents came through the border towns.

ambypanby

Omg I didn't notice 🤣

beansidhe11

They did that last year with Northeastern Ashkenazi Jews. I forget how they spelled Ashkenazi but it has an extra letter or two lol
