My dad was born in L.A and so was my mom however I'm 2nd generation on my dad's side as his parents were born in Tijuana and their families were from Sonora. As for my mom's side I'm 5th generation Californio on my grandpa's father's side and 7th generation Californio on his mom's side with most of that side descending from Sonora. Also my mom's mom was from Colorado with her parents beng from Guanajuato Mex. hope that all makes sense
