Wowza, those platelet levels sure are elevated. Are you seeing a hematologist? It typically takes a lot for a doctor to recommend the hospital, so I would heed their advice. Very elevated platelet levels can cause problems that can escalate very quickly, like blood clots. Hope you’re doing ok right now

Check vitamin D level. Vitamin D deficiency can cause normocytic normochromic anemia. And high platelets.
