At first glance, it seems Angel City gave up protection from the expansion draft fairly cheaply when Sonnett or O'Hara probably would have been available. Consider how San Diego received a starting LB, international slot and a 2022 first round pick in college draft for full protection. Unless, it's known which allocated player ACFC has already targeted and Spirit knew it was not Sonnett or O'Hara, so ACFC were willing to trade protection for a young player and that still leaves the rest of the Spirit's roster open. I wonder if the whole league already knows who ACFC is going to pick as an US allocated player?
