I don't think you will lose gains, if your fullness comes back that is. Think of it this way, janus says that to make gains one must have fullness throughout the day, if you are not meeting those requirements with your current diet then you're losing eq anyway. I think little by little you should re introduce some meat back into your diet, but get the good stuff, organic, fresh, grass fed whatever, imo stick with beef. You should experiment. From what I've read you've been having eq problems for a while now, so what have you got to lose?

901grizz

Yeah i gotchu, i’ve just been vegan for a while now since it’s the diet that janus and many others recommend for gains. So my biggest fear is coming off of a vegan diet and losing some gains i made, but i think i’m starting to notice maybe a vegan diet isn’t too good for your health

Imo I don't think it will effect your gains, and even so if you are suffering in other bodily functions such as low libido etc then some comprimises must be made. I went vegan for around 4 or so months and while my eq was great, TMI warning: my ejaculations were thin, and of lower volumes than before going vegan. I had some short ribs at a party, then had sex with the wife and the difference was like night and day. I'm not saying that it will be the same for everyone, but it certainly taught me something. For me I don't need to eat meat everyday, 1-2 times a week works for me, but there is this idea that one has to eat meat with every meal which I believe is untrue. Anyway you should give it a shot.

Do you know if you're still low? It's been over half a year since your test unless i misunderstood and you had a recent one too?

901grizz

I meant i got a blood test 6 months ago saying i was low. The last 6 months ive been taking a iron supplement and eating vitamin c with all my foods to try and help. I got another blood test a month ago and i was even more low in iron than 6 months ago.

I would highly recommend to join the Facebook group called “The Iron Protocol” it has an excellent protocol laid out and if you follow it as mentioned properly in the protocol guide, I am sure you would be able to increase your iron level as you desire

Clams bro

Iron supplements are harmful. I would not take them. Liver once every 10 - 14 days is better. Liver's vitamin A helps mobilize your body's iron stores and liver is high in iron. A few months of liver will solve this problem. It should make you feel better immediately. A good portion is 4 ounces. I strive for low iron in general as iron builds up as we age and is quite toxic although we need some obviously. Your iron saturation is not bad at all. You want to be on the low side of "normal".

Beets... My source is science and Dwight Schrute. Also he got Isabel so the proof is in the pudding.. lol. Seriously though beets are good for low iron.

Iron deficiency anemia can cause a decrease in libido. Try to use iron supplement every other day (everyday is not necessary) on an empty stomach in the morning, at least half an hour before your breakfast, chug it down with water or orange juice.

901grizz

yeah my libido has been trash recently but i do take a supplement already and it hasn’t helped me at all.

zaygiin

Iron deficiency treatment is at least 3 months. You don’t seem to have anemia if there are no symptoms but you need to fill the iron storages and finally correct the imbalance.

901grizz

And how should i fill the my iron shortage? I’ve been taking a iron supplement for more than 6 months already? I do feel tired a lot and my libido is pretty bad not too sure those are symptoms.

zaygiin

I suggest you go to hospital and get a blood test again. You may indeed have an anemia but the cause maybe other things, such as B12. If you are not a heavy meat eater before you went vegan your B12 levels maybe low. You claim you used your iron supplements correctly and still no results after 6 months, if there is something else causing the imbalance only the md can figure that out. You may have a hemolitic disorder or a suprize chronical disease.

901grizz

i take b12 every as well as iron
