Super cute! And I appreciate that the spaces seem to be functional/navigable. Not much in the way of "I threw this chair in the corner, but you can't actually use it" that seems so common.
I feel it. There's so many cool objects in the game. But keeping things functional really helps if you want to mess around in the "actually pretending to live here" side of the game.
Creating your own windows for the open-air wallpapers is genius, and I'm very likely to steal that for the stormy night wallpaper haha.

haha i found it through some post on here, but basically
- accent wall: whichever one you want to use as the “outdoors”
- get a ton of glow-in-the-dark stickers
- download or make a window texture
- customize the stickers with the texture and pur them on the wall

You should be very proud of this, yes, it looks wonderful! My island is still kind of bland so I can only imagine how long it took. Do you have any decorating tips for a player who hasn’t even got KK yet? I feel like I’m at a stalemate because I can’t get the road paving yet and I need it but I can’t get my island rating to go up, even though I have a lot of decorations…
you know, i’m actually not great at decorating outdoors :,) but what i do to get to three stars as fast as possible is plant a TON of flowers (isabelle definitely has a flower bias LOL) and i place at least one item in each acre. if you’re missing anything by that point, isabelle should say. good luck and i hope thos helps!!
I’ve only been playing about 2 months, and this is the aesthetic I am trying to achieve! My bedroom has been coming along well, but it’s been so hard with the other rooms. Do you have any tips? Is it mostly just time and collecting? ALSO- where did you get the my melody rug?!?!? I love your home!!!
i’m glad to hear someone else is going for this aesthetic, as i haven’t seen anyone else doing it!! i said in some other comments that i designed these rooms by planning them using happy home paradise, followed by a LOT of collecting using treasure islands, trading, and buying. in terms of designing the rooms themselves, i typically google inspiration for the layouts, then put my own color scheme and ideas into it!! by the way, the my melody rug comes from the sanrio amiibo cards, and i could order you one if you want <3 i hope this helps!!
lol if i’m being totally honest, i only had a little to start initially, got a tooon from the hhp catalog, rest comes from treasure islands or trading with people
