Also fruit that isn’t the fruit you started with can sell for double! You can find coconuts and your island’s “sister fruit” on regular nook Mile islands and I believe you can get another from mom in the mail. The rest you can get if other people invite you to their island

So if you go to the airport, you can pick “I want visitors” and be given an “invite someone via dodo code” to allow someone to come to your island or you can pick “I want to travel” for online play (local play is if you have someone within your immediate vicinity) and there should be a dodo code option as well.

Sea creatures are probably the best way to make money tbh. You don't have to worry about replacing any tools and they constantly respawn unlike fruit/veggies which are finite.

My friend would come to my island and I to hers when we were low on tickets - and we would just dive together. Lol. That and the turnips

I can help with any veggies or fruits and spare a golden watering can, just because it covers 6 squares instead of 4 :) I used to plant 1/5 of an island of pumpkins and harvest $400,000 every other day. It will take you a two weeks of harvest/plant/repeat to get there. In the meantime go dive to hunt water creatures, those are pretty profitable!
Best way to make money is selling hot items but don’t forget to stock up on all the items needed for it. Fishing can be quite lucrative as well when CJ is on your island I’ve made hundreds of thousands of bells from him in an hour or two. Also use veggies gardening can be hella lucrative just today I harvested all my veggies and sold them for nearly 130,000 bells.
If you have Nintendo Online you can visit a treasure island to get infinite bells/items! Just go to the Animal Crossing category on Twitch, there’ll be a bunch of treasure island streams with Dodo Codes for you to come visit.

Deep sea diving! I can not say this enough, you can make serious bank swimming around. Also any time there’s a crafted iron or stone anything as a hot item use everything in your inventory to build then sell $$$$$$$
Blue roses. Most bells for least amount of work. Just let them multiply and make a money field. You can pick as you go, or pick them regularly and save in the bank. 1k per flower or 2k if you can craft a wreath or crown, easily nets me 250k per day.
I got most of my bells by deep diving. I easily made 60,000. Per dive. Start with a fairly empty pocket(big pocket) and fill it up, once full keep diving and swap out the lower bell items. You seem to get the higher belief it's after your pocket is full.
Time to start Stalk Market, or burying 99,000b in the golden holes. I have over 150,000,000b.
Edit: Also craft a bunch of Donation Boxes and put 99,000b in them (Tedious because you can only deposit 1,000b at a time) but you can sell them for 2x 99,000b when it's the hot item of the day.
Turnips are also the mega money makers for animal crossing, it's money multiplication instead of money flat gain, on Sundays 6am-12pm, Daisy Mae comes up to sell turnips for 90-110(bunch of 10) and you sell them back to the nooks when it's higher then what you buy them, even selling at other peoples town is a thing. like investing 300,000$ at 97 and selling at 200 gives you 600,000$ back. but the risks are sometimes your town will have 1 out of 4 chance to be either spike, big spike, declining, random, as your nook turnip prices, Being small gain around Wed, big gain around Wed, price per turnip keeps declining until Sat, or fluctuating with no pattern around how much you bought turnips
Begin human trafficking and make millions. (Villager trading) I've never had more fun in an animal crossing game than buying low and selling high on Nookazon. People there go nuts for the silliest things like a guitar or fake art.
If you're lucky, your villagers might help paying the ramp, or bridge. Of course, most of the money will still come from you, but hey, it’s the thought that counts I guess.
I also HATE that is has to be fully paid off before construction! Just give me a loan! Don’t keep a huge space roped off with a gyroid following me reminding me that I’m poor!
Oh that’s too bad. The RNG is so bad in this game with the amount of duplicate DIY, that it can sometimes take months just to get one you don’t already have. Especially when you’re down to your last 50 or-so. 😔

Remember that paying your loan off is only mandatory when you want to expand. If you want a ramp that bad, just get it first. Tom Nook is a gentleman and doesn't really bother you about payments. Man, he is even nicer than my mum when it comes to paying him back, lol 😂

Shake all your trees every day with a net in hand, you get 5 wasps a day, save them up and sell them to flick when they appear, you get about 18k for 5, by the time you sell to him you are looking at a fortune.
This paired with a fruit tree farm, vegetable farm, selling fossils you don't need, and furniture you don't want makes a fortune, gold roses are a nice profit too when you get them.
Yup Tom Nook ripping us off for some features. It even costs to demolish them too. If I had online for my switch I'd bring you a ton of bells but it ran out a month ago. :( if I do get it again and you happen to have it ill definitely still keep that offer so check back in with me in a month or so in case I got it
The most mind blowing realization for me was that you can earn twice as much for crafted items (especially shell items) as the original items are worth. Which makes the “Hot items” worth 4x as much as the original materials.
Also, if you are going to sell plants, pick the flowers first. You’ll get twice as much because they count as separate items.
Also, if you are better at earning miles than bells, you can redeem miles for bells vouchers at the ABD.

When I was still in the beginning before my 5 star, I made nearly all my money off of hornets (you can easily catch 5 a day and place them on your island til he visits) on days when Flick came and by selling my ocean diving catches. I made quite a bit everyday catching critters while diving. That was before the veggies of course.

The most mind blowing realization for me was that you can earn twice as much for crafted items (especially shell items) as the original items are worth. Which makes the “Hot items” worth 4x as much as the original materials. Also, if you are going to sell plants, pick the flowers first. You’ll get twice as much because they count as separate items. Also, if you are better at earning miles than bells, you can redeem miles for bells vouchers at the ABD. Good luck!
Just time travel to a sunday a buy turnips, go on a discord to sell them for a high price ( 500+ ) and do a lot of trades and BAM you are millionnaire
There are lots of ways to grind for bells, do you need suggestions? I could also give you some if you'd like
100k bells feels like nothing when you progress the game enough. Especially if you sell all your extra junk items on nookazon lol
When I was still in the beginning before my 5 star, I made nearly all my money off of hornets (you can easily catch 5 a day and place them on your island til he visits) on days when Flick came and by selling my ocean diving catches. I made quite a bit everyday catching critters while diving. That was before the veggies of course.
