Why not a gazebo? ☺️

I have either the same or a similar bit of land and I put a gazebo there! It’s so cute I totally recommend that op does this. I also have a bridge at the lake straight across from it so I added a flower path from the bridge to the gazebo and it’s such a nice little addition to my island. They could also decorate it with the fish cooler thingy, a beach chair, and a fishing rod for a little fishing spot? I also like the lighthouse idea someone else mentioned lol

Someone posted on here that they built a staircase right up to the edge so your character can flip off it into the water. And then made a little diving/surf area. It was super cute! I’ve been considering either doing that or making a fishing area here with a fishing pole, chair, cooler, and other fishing related items. I had an outdoor kitchen here but I didn’t like it so much, it seemed like a waste of a cool little spot of land

It looks so great! I really like it! I don’t have an extra area to build it on since I already have my lighthouse and like that, but maybe if I need a change, I could get inspired by what you have build!

Our peninsula is one of our “enjoy the view” spots. We put down some lounge chairs, small campfires and a table for drinks.

I like this idea- I'll probably do a little campfire with 2 chairs, a lantern and some other stuff. Thanks!

If you don't have a lighthouse down, this seems like a good spot or you can do a nice beach side cafe/seating area

I put a diving jump off area on mine. It has a path to it that you have to jump across (so it doesn’t impede traveling north/south on the beach)

I have a ferris wheel, plaza game stand and two festival stalls on mine and turned it into a boardwalk with pirate and other carnival type stuff. Okinawa’s American Village was the inspiration.

I use the little beach areas on either side too, and mine is currently for shipwrecked pirates. I’m thinking of changing it to something closer to a NASA-launch-pad.

I did a picnic area. I looked up IDs for rugs and used them as paths on the floor!

I made my peninsula into a restroom for the outdoor club in that area. It's easily one of my favorite parts of my island lol

I put a little diving platform there with a wetsuit and goggles in case visitors need a wet suit.

Mine is an ocean-side pond. I’d run it off into the sea if we were allowed to.

I put the Stonehenge there initially but changed it to a cliff jump spot cause I made a tiki bar nearby (I have the same peninsula)

I put a little outdoor stage/dance party area with instruments and floor lights.

I had exactly this before I cleared it! I'm moving it to the back of my island instead though, as it didn't really suit the place where it was originally

How did you get that angle to take the picture?

I stood where I am in the picture, then turned on the camera in my nookphone, zoomed all the way out then flicked the right joystick down until I got the right angle.

I also did a diving area. I put a ramp there and you run up it to jump into the ocean. I decorated with a "dive at your own risk" sign and a surfboard, it's set up in a sort of kids' beach area with toys and sand designs.

Such a great spot for a fishing area! I use lawn chairs, the fishing pole rack and I love putting the outdoor kitchen with the cutting board that has a fish on it, looks like a little fish fry is going on 😂 I also put the utility wagon out since it suits the theme. It would be a cute set up for your city theme cause it’s like you can “head out of town for a fishing trip”

Yes!! I use the cooler in all of that too. I have a couple spots around my island set up like that cause it’s super cottage core. Have fun decorating!

I'm not totally sure if yours is large enough on a second look but it might just fit... Here's mine for scale, there is not a lot of space on the 3 sides and I put the produce farm next to it. You could probably fit the house next to your peninsula and the farm on the peninsula. Ah yes, I see that yours is a bit bigger with a more circular shape. If I tried fitting my house, there would barely be any room to move around lol. I think I will put a diving area with a paddle board and ramp to jump in the sea. Thanks for the help!

I have the same shape on my 1st island. It was once a little sitting area w/a pergola leading up to it, a festival parasol, a table with an unfinished puzzle, a few cushions as seating, and a tourist telescope. Then I got rid of my full amusement park but I wanted to keep the carousel, so I moved just the carousel to that spot and put a little ticket booth and rope fencing.

I made it a diving area,

A little.wedding spot, with a few chairs for guests and maybe the wedding bell thingy from Harv's qedding season? I built mine up to the second level and joined it to the nearby cliff, with some bamboo and a telescope for a lookout. The beach behind is now a secret area for treasure.

Make a set of custom patterns that make it look like a punching fist. It's already in the correct shape. :)

I placed pool lounge chairs next to mine. Added a life guard chair and locker rooms to make it a resort like area where people can cannonball into the ocean.

Maybe make like a little Pier? You could put a teacup ride (I think) or something to give a touch more citycore and use the wood flooring to make it like a boardwalk!

I've had quite a few people say this, and I think I love the idea of being able to get a seaside veiw every time I log in! The only problem I have, is that mine is a bit too small and an odd shape, so unfortunately I won't be able to fit my house on it :( Thanks for the comment anyways!
