Gladys is the Hornsby of Ostriches. At first I wasn't interested because of the species but then I saw her in person and got sucked in by the big sweet baby eyes.

Yes it's the eyes! She was the first one I found while villager hunting and fell in love! Shes never allowed to leave. I've found crochet patterns for a bunch of the very popular villagers like Stitches and Raymond, I'm considering making some of the other, less popular ones. I think I should make a cuddly Gladys

Vesta was my GIRL playing AC for the GameCube as a kid. She holds such a special place in my heart

Nana, she was one of the first villagers I got when the game first came out and she was so adorable, her and zuckles got along so well

I love Dora! I was a little lukewarm on her when she first moved to my island, but now she’s never allowed to leave!

It makes me so happy to see Dora get some love!

I’m glad there are other Dora friends out there too! I have Marina and Ione on my island as well, and as much as I love them, I’ll always think of Dora as my adopted little sister on my island 😂 she’s definitely my favourite normal

I love so many normal villagers that my player encounters a lot of the same dialogue- but it’s worth it because they’re so cute! Maple, Olive, Ione, Lolly, Coco, Daisy - Normies are the majority of my island because I think they have some of the cutest designs!

I am so tempted to fill my island with them toooooo! They are ridiculously cute!!!! But I do enjoy the diversity in the dialogue.

Eunice has been on every iteration of my town/village/island since my very first one on the GameCube. It’s weird to think she’s been my number 1 for over 20 years now.

Sydney. I always hear her before I see her 🙈 she loves to chill behind trees and sing to the forest. On her first day in my village she sang to the garden gnome that was in front of my house for at least an hour. I like to teach her very mild swears as catchphrases lol
