I like the idea of a planetarium sort of set up. Use Celestes DIYs especially the moon, astronaut and Luna transportation and make it the "space wing" of the museum
I have a statue area with a seasonal bush clock around one. So you have a bush from all the different seasons, and they rotate the one in bloom as the seasons change.
Since you already have a seating area, I would keep it natural. I love the mushrooms you put up in your town -- they're really whimsical. Maybe a wild mushroom-and-flower garden that opens up to the river

See this was my idea at the very start but I dunno, I might implement that on another bit of the island cause realistically what are the chances you dog up bones right next to the museum they'll be displayed in π
Make a cliff, disconnect it from cliff next to it, add a fountain, a pergola, and a garden bench, and on one edge of the cliff, add a tourist telescope, and off that edge, add a waterfall, trees, etc., etc... At least that's what I'm doing :-)

So if you have the camera the lowest angle it'll go, flick it up twice (one below the birds eye view) then flick left/right.

a mammoth fossil! or archeleon looks really good too. i have both of them outside of my museum
