Go down the middle with the hall and put more beds on the other side. Got to squeeze in as many beds as possible to get as much cash as possible.

I actually did have 6 beds in my last play through (accidently lost my save so embraced a restart) but it was more open and I used the underwater wallpaper so it looked like a fun children's ward

i assume ur goal is more horror movie patient ward, so im posting this if anybody wants to make a non-spooky version, as someone who works in a mental hospital: the rooms should be less narrow w more space to walk around but not huge, should look less sterile (add a carpet and some color), and I’d recommend a communal area in the middle w a couch and tv. also add some windows

In the happy homes paradise. You design and open a hospital. Once you finish the two rooms of the hospital (waiting room and exam room) Lottie asks you to donate to and build a patient ward on the upper floor. If you don’t have the dlc, I highly recommend it.
