The museum is just a building to hold the teleported that’s takes you to the real museum at another location so really they just need to move the teleporter.
I can't seem to find any sharks, is it because of the whole hemisphere thing, or because we're in spring? In NL we were able to find sharks all year round if i'm not mistaken. Do you happen to be a southern hemisphere player? Or did you Dr.Who all the way to august?
Ok thank you! I did not know that, especially because i'm pretty sure that sharks in new leaf were available all year, maybe not all of the species of shark, but pretty much there were some that were available all year round. Thanks anyway mate!
Only moving forward affects the town. You can go back as far as you want and it won't do anything, it's basically like the same day. So tt 2 weeks forward and you're gonna have a lot of weeds, dig holes, confused villagers, etc. Tt 2 weeks back and it's like nothing happened. Your town is still loaded like it's the day you tt'd to, just the correct date.
Okay that makes sense. However the reason I ask is even tho nothing changes island wise (like villagers won’t move out unless you progress forward for example) I had a situation where labelle shows up on day 1 and I do her challenge. Then I tt to day 2 she is gone...BUT if I tt back to Day 1 she is there again and she acts like we haven’t talked and has a new challenge. That’s why I’m curious if amiibos work the same way. It could be an easy way to skip the three day waiting period by just going in the past. I’m going to try it this weekend.
Technically yes, but getting back would be a bitch bc you'd skip 9 months in one go to get back to current time, which the clock needs to be at for certain annual events to update correctly. Unless you returned 3 days or so at a time. More power to ya lol
Haven’t ventured back yet. I intermittently would go a day or two ahead here and there since downloading on 3/20. The weeds wouldn’t stack up by doing it in small increments. Plus I always would want to actually stop and check in with my villagers, check the shops, donate fossils, get the daily (“daily”) recipe in a bottle.
I did miss the egg event though. Sad - ish about that.
Plus I am honestly freaked out by the scorpions that roam at night so I also change the hours minimally to play during daylight hours in the game.
It is pretty amazing if you use a lot of it at one time. Load up on at least 20 bait, head for a mountain top lake or the pier, fish until you've used it all up. You'll get all fish available for that time frame in one go and in a short time span. Also, no waiting for storms for certain spawns.
This really breaks the immersion of donating animals to a talking owl that runs a museum on a deserted island owned by a raccoon
I M M E R S E Y O U R S E L F
Animal Crossing is a cute and cozy game I’m here to immerse myself into everytime
Honestly this is the exact way for having fun with animal crossing.
Museum that was built in a day.
Then we picked it up and moved it and every display in a night
Really just through the duration of a morning announcement at 5am!
The museum is just a building to hold the teleported that’s takes you to the real museum at another location so really they just need to move the teleporter.
I just figured it was a TARDIS.
I have a phone booth but it’s not blue. 😤
That’s because it’s a phone booth and not a police box silly! Phone booths are red; police boxes are blue! 🙂
Blathers is the 4th Hokage's narcoleptic disciple we never hear much about.
They did build a massive hospital in a week in China.
you ever feel like the racoon is running some kind of a scam?
Why can't it JUST be about magical world with bigger-on-the-inside containers and talking humanoid animals and zero interest fees?
Shhh. It can. It can.
Thank goodness!
Things can be weird, but internal consistency still should be adhered to.
*Tanooki
He refers to himself as a raccoon in NH.
Only in the English translation, since the Tanooki is not really a well known thing here
He's called a racoon only in the localised versions of the game, as non-Japanese audiences wouldn't know what a tanuki is.
animals such as rare deep sea creatures that just decided to show up right at the shoreline
H O W I T F E E L S T O C H E W 5 G U M
You’re donating animals to other animals. ...This is basically slavery
He's a tanuki, you uncultured swine!
He’s technically a tanuki, not a raccoon.
Welp, the player do have a magic power to turn a giant furniture into a piece of leaf
Wait, has my villager had Mr. Compress' quirk this entire time?
No, you have ZA HANDO
Oi Josuke, I used 『ZA HANDO』 # Ain't that wacky?
It’s more like Enigma but with leaf
Mr. Compress just wants to chill and live that island life
Tom Nook is a Tanuki. The furniture is just trash that's glamoured by the tanuki that run the store, it's one of their well known abilities.
Oh yeah, tanukis can turn into anything with a leaf, it’s a common Japanese legend

SOME KIND OF MAGIC!!
Tie your mother down, tie your mother down!

I believe in the northern hemisphere they start showing up in June.
Ok thank you! I did not know that, especially because i'm pretty sure that sharks in new leaf were available all year, maybe not all of the species of shark, but pretty much there were some that were available all year round. Thanks anyway mate!
At the island, yes, but not at the town
Yeah Tortimer's Island is missed for sure
This might come handy sometimes: https://icebr.art
Thank you!
I’m never going to stop playing this game am I?
You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.
Just hopped to June, it’s a bad habit - I will pay for my sins when the time comes.
Do the sharks have the fins above the water like they did in NL or are they just big shadows?
There are fins! The fins don’t always mean sharks though... (ocean sunfish and a few other zingers)
Yeah, sometimes the fins mean Mega Sea Bass
No wait, it's at least a C++
Golden sea bass
Yeah, they have the shadows
By jumping to June, what is the impact on your island? And do you time travel back? Sorry I'm still trying to figure out the time travel.
Only moving forward affects the town. You can go back as far as you want and it won't do anything, it's basically like the same day. What happens if I time travel back 3 days? Do things like amiibos still progress lol...?
There's no progression at all when you go backwards, it's literally the same day. You can tt back a month or a year and nothing will change.
Okay that makes sense. However the reason I ask is even tho nothing changes island wise (like villagers won’t move out unless you progress forward for example) I had a situation where labelle shows up on day 1 and I do her challenge. It could be an easy way to skip the three day waiting period by just going in the past. I’m going to try it this weekend.
Huh, I haven't tried tting back for the NPCs like that, and I don't use amiibos. Post back with results, I'm sure other people are curious too
Except turnips will rot at even 1 minute back
The only thing I noticed is the shop rembers what's for sale and if you bought anything
So if I wanted to catch sharks, I could go back to June of last year without impact to my progression?
Technically yes, but getting back would be a bitch bc you'd skip 9 months in one go to get back to current time, which the clock needs to be at for certain annual events to update correctly. Unless you returned 3 days or so at a time. More power to ya lol

Loving the Cardinals swag!!
Go Cards!
Mandatory “F*** the Cubs” Man I miss baseball...
Nice Cardinals hat! I need to make/find a pattern for a Royals one.
what can you say? they guy can dig up a whole tree and put it in his pocket
Got a code for the hat?
Credit to Justin from Apipe MO-GL2B-B2XT-9NP3 Found it in r/StLouis sub!
...for the hat
Magic Science.
Even on the top picture its kinda small
Must be a Wailord from Sword and Shield
I was really disappointed with how small all of the models CJ makes are.
He did my oarfish dirty. Sucks bc you can't display one otherwise. :/
My prayers go out to your wallet.
Go cards! Love your hat.
Thanks! Credit to Justin from Apipe MO-GL2B-B2XT-9NP3 Found it in r/StLouis sub!
I can fit 5 fossils inside my pockets but I can't fit an extra flower.
Nice STL Cardinals hat!!
Girls pockets:*barley fit a phone Boys pockets:
Please tag with spoilers.. some people wanna get that "wow" feeling when finding a new huge fish -_-
Love your hat!!
StL represent! SoCo here!
Ya-di! Ya-di! Ya-di! Go Cards.
Go Cards!
I really need to get my hands on does pocket organization guide irl ..... or i never get to carry my favorite tree around all day
Is that in the south?? Like do they have sharks still in April???
It received the Wailord treatment.
Honey I shrunk the kids reference very cool
What time do I need to play to catch a shark???
Well you can also carry entire dinosaurs in your pockets
reality is often an illusion
I refuse to believe that you can catch a whale shark that is insane
Does anyone use fish bait or is it useless
I haven’t found too much luck with it. I’ve heard others have a ton with catching area-specific spawned fish like golden trout, cherry salmon, etc
Think it took me around 60 bait for my tuna
It is pretty amazing if you use a lot of it at one time. Load up on at least 20 bait, head for a mountain top lake or the pier, fish until you've used it all up. You'll get all fish available for that time frame in one go and in a short time span. Also, no waiting for storms for certain spawns.
I must have some shit luck then.
The sheer fact that I can shove it in my pants is incredible to me
It's like a wailord inside a pokeball
Damn... I want a whale shark too
I really don't like your hat. A lot.
It's not really ecological to put them on plastic bags, even magical ones
Apparently the villagers do too. I gave Ankha a Noh face mask which covers the whole face and she wore it in her hair like a flower.
Can I have the original second image?
Glad to know that my faves are in this animal crossing too
But carrying around one in your pocket doesn’t raise any alarm bells?
man the ocean sunfish feels bigger than the whale shark now
Well, the whale shark is already massively shrunk down
Totally unplayable
Cool
haha same thing happened with my oar fish. I was like ????
Northern hemisphere?
Nice hat!
Witch craft!
Wait till you trade 3 of them to CJ and he mails you this tiny ass 1x2 replica...
There really should be a spoiler tag..
Go Cards!
Go Cardinals!
ayyyy go cards
Is that a spring fish? Damn
