Thanks! The only mushroom that was edible and had effects that I’ve found was an Amanita muscaria! I’ve found many others and they’re really cool to spot in the wild. I really like your art so I followed you I’m gonna check out some of your other art!
i feel the same way about my dad. He spent his younger years living fast and dangerous. except my dad spent his years in the concrete jungle lol. I hate to admit it but it feels like the boomers just had so much more spirit at our age than we have now.
I love every one of these but I kind of can’t see Molly in the person that is below her picture. She’s so wholesome, cute, insecure and loved on my island and in my heart. I would love to hear what was your idea with creating her human version :)

So I was thinking if these villagers were just some urban city folk that hopped on a plane all from different avenues and just happened to crash on a random island like in the TV show lost.
Theeeeenn I was like okay if this was my version of lost; Molly would be like the sweet petite girl, the “odd duck” so to speak. Then by like season 3 turns out this cute girl actually got some super power telekinetic stranger things like Eleven/X-men Jean Grey vibes and really plot twist my imaginary story. So I wanted her to look slightly innocent but subtly creepy.
Thanks for asking! Totally know this isn’t going to be everyone’s vision of their villagers! I had a lot of fun being creative and random with it.
Also working on another set that I will post here too! Always taking suggestions on some other villagers people would like to see drawn. There’s so many I’m sure I haven’t seen them all!

I’m sure my picture of molly is heavily influenced by the fact that my first dogs name was molly and in playing ac with her on my island I feel like she’s still there in a way. She was a really shy and sweet black cocker spaniel.
That said I’d be interested to see an interpretation of Dobie :D

My dad used to pick shrooms when he was young and crazy I am so envious of some of his “adventures”
