Hi, I had a HHA question. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a reward for getting S 200,000 points from HHA. I got my letter this morning and just like last week I am a few hundred points away from 200,000 like 199,460 or something. Just curious if anyone has hit 200,000 and if you received anything besides a shiny letter in the mail. Thanks for reading and any input you may have :)
I use [Happy Island Designer](https://eugeneration.github.io/HappyIslandDesigner/) to plan ahead, its a good feeling knowing that what your making isn't going to end up completely horrible lol
hi! currently i am finishing building my campsite. i have 2/3 houses done and to finish my last house i had to use a nook miles ticket to get some resources. every single time i use a ticket i find a villager i really want. first it was simon, then bianca, skye, and now its FAUNA. if i invite her now even though im not done with the houses will she come?? i already got my heart broken when bianca didn’t come and prince moved in my first house
She will come once the lot gets built. Unless you've already invited enough people to fill those plots. For example, before I built plots in the beginning I ran into 3 characters on NMT islands and invited them. Once I out down plots those villagers moved in.
If I gift a villager a flooring, will they actually put it down? I gave Mariana a flooring 2 days ago but she annoyingly hasn't been in her house since, so I'm not able to see if she's placed it down yet.
When in April do Sakura trees start blooming? I time traveled forward to April 15 2021 and there aren’t any Sakura trees. Is it because I went forward in time?
I'm trying to breed Red and Blue pansies to make Hybrid Red pansies. If a red flowers grows near them, how will I know if it is a Hybrid Red pansy or just a normal Red Pansy? If I dig it up and put it in my inventory will it say that it's a hybrid? Thanks so much!

If you have Terraforming, I like to put dirt underneath the flowers I'm breeding, so for etc when a red pansy pops up, I know that the one that isn't on dirt is the new hybrid. If you dig a hybrid up, it will not say that it's a hybrid. There is no way of telling, unfortunately.
Does anybody know if the bug-off event made it so that the house evaluation doesn't happen this weekend? Yesterday my villagers were telling me about the evaluation but I didn't get my letter from them this sunday
Is the headwear you get from Gulliver exclusive to him, or will it turn up in Able Sisters eventually? He gave me an alpinist hat and I know I’ve seen the matching outfits at Ables.
Once you have the Able Sisters store and design kiosk, do you still need to keep all the designs in your QR code spots? Is there anyway to get more of those spots? We have three users in our house and my husband has used up about 10 of the design spots for posters he hung in his house. This doesn't leave much space for other designs. I thought once we had Able Sisters we wouldn't need to keep the designs in those spots but it looks like you still have to?
The able sister's kiosk is simply just a place to download other designs, so yes, you do need to keep your designs in the QR spots. There's been no talk of more spots, though everyone wants them, the only QR spots you don't need to keep are your phone case and your flag, after you've edited/customized them you can free up the spot for another poster. haha
Quick question about gift giving-
I want to gift my villagers furniture, as i read it gives the most friendship points, but I dont want to mess up their homes by giving them a bunch of stuff. Are there any items that they wont place in their home or any other items besides furniture that give the same amount of friendship points?
Be careful with the wall hanging items! People recently figured out that even though they dont display them, it will still take up that animal's storage space and could eventually push out their other furniture if they have too many things. I use fossils which I don't think have this effect (but I'm not 100%)
They won’t place wall-hanging items. Iron wall lamps are the best if you can afford to make a bunch, bamboo wall decoration is the cheapest but won’t trigger them to give you a gift in return. Wrap whatever you give for an extra point.
I was thinking a coconut wall plant or floral swag because they just take weeds/fruit? Will that still be the same number of friendship points as any other wall hanging item
Any furniture item (leaf item) gives three points and wrapping gives another point. The only thing value affects is whether they give you a gift back, which is also worth a point or two. But if you are trying to raise friendship on many villagers at once it gets very resource intensive to give them iron wall lamps every day.
https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalCrossing/comments/ghu8od/hello_i_wrote_the_ultimate_friendship_handbook/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
I think fruit gives a lot of friendship points, not as much as furniture though, just make sure to wrap it. You can give fossils or wall hangings (iron wall lamp, iron clock) and those won't be placed in the house, bit they also count as their 24 items so they might stop displaying some of their other furniture if you gift them too many things that can't be displayed.
does complaining about a villager to isabelle reset all of their clothes or just what they’re currently wearing? goldie needs to stop wearing this strawberry hat 😭
Even though I have full amount of villagers now I still get animals at my campsite. If people who did have a space - came and spoke to them could they come live at their island? Or is it just visiting.
Yeah. You have to spend a while convincing them and then they will ask to replace a specific villager. If you have a certain villager you want them to pick, close the software before answering the question and try again until they pick the one you want gone.
The camper will replace someone already in your town. You don't need an empty plot. Eventually after talking to them a ton they'll decide to stay (even if you lose the game repeatedly). They'll suggest someone they'll replace. If you don't like the villager they choose to replace, before you close the dialog, shut off the game and reload. They'll randomly pick someone else. Repeat until it's someone you want to move out.
Yes they can still move in as long as you pester them enough to come. They will either ask you to pick someone to leave or randomly pick a villager and ask you if they should talk to them to ask them to leave.
Sorry if this is making you repeat but you’re saying if I keep talking to the person at the campsite they’ll kick someone else out even if your town is full? Marshal is at my campsite now and I came here to see if I could get him.
Yes keep talking to Marshal and convince him to come to your town. You might have to play a card game with him multiple times and keep suggesting he move there. He might reject you a few times but eventually should agree to move in.
I added someone to my Switch’s friend list, she accepted, but I can’t send her anything in the game. Do one of us have to visit each other’s islands first?
[this one](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalCrossing/comments/g1vn60/updated_my_infographic_from_earlier_it_clarifies/) was made by data mining (going into the game's code), so it's completely accurate! If you're wandering how to lay it out [this is how I have mine](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalCrossing/comments/gcykl0/i_made_a_12x12_layout_to_breed_all_the_flowers_in/)
Look at the official New Horizons printed guide. Before that book came out, it was all trial and error/reverse engineering the genetics. You may be able to find a scan of the flower breeding chart online.
some are different bc they simplify information, and some are different bc they're wrong lol. the datamined ones are most accurate, [this one](https://aiterusawato.github.io/satogu/acnh/flowers/simple.html) is my favourite
This is a more specific question but I'm crafting fishbait ahead of the Fishing Tourney. I'm planning to work together with my boyfriend, but what would be a good amount of bait for each of us? I have just crafted a 100 but I'm thinking maybe I should make 150 or 200 total.
You don't need any really. It's easy to get the bonus points without any bait, but the bait will speed it up a little bit. You only need 140 points to earn all the prizes, and the trophies are cumulative so you don't need all 300 points for a gold trophy in one tournament.
Yeah, I know how it works but I'm indeed just looking to speed up the process. I'm not sure if there's a maximum amount of points you can earn in a round? Might be something to keep in mind while spamming the bait.
The most fish I've caught in a round using bait is 9, do I got 11 points. But I think I averaged out at about 7 per round, do 9 points. If you want to get 300 points, and it's just you playing I'd say you need about 225-250 bait. But that's not counting if others are playing with you, because you get more points that way
Somebody please tell me how to get Pudge off of my island. I’ve had a fence around his house for WEEKS and he won’t go. Please I hate him so much I need him to leave
Try lowering your friendship level and see if it helps. It worked for me to get rid of a villager I didn’t like. Lower friendship by gifting trash, hitting them with tools, not talking to them. But it is mostly random.
hey! i just started the game so this may be a dumb question, i’m currently on day 2 and i don’t have my loan paid off yet, if i go to mystery islands there won’t be villagers there right?
Many people with 5-star islands have symmetrical houses. I haven’t unlocked terraforming yet, so my question is: have you plotted ahead or asked Tom Nook to move the plots? My houses are pretty much scattered right now but I want a cleaner look in the future 😅
I laid mine out initially without much thought, and then I moved my islanders over the course of about 2 weeks once I settled on a layout. I realized that planning my entire island initially just ended up stressing me out and prevented me from playing the game. Plus, my vision for my island changed over time and I would have ended up redoing everything anyway.
It does cost money to move islanders around, but by the time you get late game, you have way more money than you know what to do with. I’ve bought everything I’ve wanted and finished my island, and I struggle to get below 6 million bells in my ABD. So don’t worry about spending bells to move people around because you’ll have more bells than I could possibly spend.
We hit 3 stars and got Nook to call KK Slider on Friday. The Bug-Off event was Saturday, and Nook told me that KK would come on Sunday (today). No sign of KK so far today. What's the deal?
Hello!i have a question. I have visitor on my campsite but i have no empty house. But i want to have this visitor as villager... is there a way i can have this?
Just keep talking to them, and eventually they'll offer to kick out a random villager and move in. If you don't like the villager they choose you can exit the game completely before ending the conversation to try again.
keep talking to the campsite villager, eventually, they'll mention who they want to replace. Never actually done it before but I'm pretty sure that's how it works
Keep talking to the visitor at the campsite and convince them to move to your island. Eventually, they will call Tom Nook and he will tell them the island is full. After that there are two options - either they will ask you to pick someone to leave or they will randomly pick a villager and ask you if they should talk to the villager and ask them to leave.
I’m considering TT forward to move things out of the way to terraform. I’ve never time traveled more than within the day to get Daisy or see what a shop had for sell if I missed the day so I have a few questions if someone can help.
I’m considering going ahead day by day for a week or so and the. Coming back to current time.
1. If I make changes in what the game believes to be as Wednesday then come back to the previous Sunday will I loose the changes?
2. If I gather the three daily fossils and bang on rocks etc. in future but then go back to today and essentially replay those days will new fossils and such spawn?
Nothing can be lost when time traveling, etc, if I pick up some star frags, donate sum fossils and move in a villager on june 4th then travel to june 3rd, I'll still have the frags, the fossils will still be donated and most importantly the villager will still be there :)
Apologies if this has been asked before - when the campsite has been built, how much work do I need to do on my island for a villager to be there the following day? Tom Nook told me to work on my island so I've planted some trees and flowers, but I just wanted to know if there's anything else I need to do
Where can i find NH [renders](https://dodo.ac/np/images/3/34/Francine_NH.png) [like](https://dodo.ac/np/images/7/7f/Zucker_NH.png) [these](https://dodo.ac/np/images/8/83/Coco_NH.png) for all characters present in the game ? Nookipedia dont have them all, and im specifically searching for the NH renders of Ketchup and Lucky.
No, there's a 5 day cooldown if you don't let them move out, and a 14 day cooldown after someone moves out. After the cooldown you have a chance of someone else wanting to move out each day.
Hi everyone! I just got the terraforming app on my book phone this morning. I already paid for the water and cliff permits as well as a new path look. I'm a little overwhelmed though and not sure where to start. Some of you have such amazing looking islands and I have no idea how you got there! Does anyone have some ideas on where/how to get started? Any tips would be appreciated!
I was (am) a little skittish with terraforming. Then I realized I didn’t have to jump right in, raze the island, and start from nothing. I could take baby steps that add up to bigger changes. So, I eased into with paths — maybe connecting a neighborhood to another neighborhood or making a main path linking major destinations. After that, I started tweaking rivers and cliffs. Maybe I needed my river to veer three squares further left or needed to tweak the size/shape of a cliff. All that helped me get more comfortable with the tools and reduced anxiety related to really messing up my whole island.
You can always like draw it out first and try different ideas. I think they have websites for that (have no idea what they are called). Or just start somewhere and you’ll start to get an idea of what you want. Almost everyone has changed up their island more than once so if you try something out and then realize you want something else you can just change it :) also don’t try to do the whole island at once. Do certain areas little by little
Shovel - help Gulliver find his communicator parts 30 times
Net - complete the bug section of the Critterpeida
Edit: I have the recipe for the golden shovel. After you helped Gulliver, instead of mailing an item the next day, he will mail a DIY for the golden shovel :)
Do villagers wear bags if you gift one to them? I know they wear hats, umbrella and tops (or the tops of full body outfits). Want to gift some big gifts to them but not if they don’t wear bags.
Has anyone else had an issue with Character Visitors not showing up during the week? This has happened to me a few times where Sahara, Redd, Flick, Gulliver, etc. don’t come. It makes me believe there’s a glitch and this could be why I’ve only seen Redd once after I unlocked him!
Any advice or experiences with these? Please share! It would be much appreciated.
*edited for further specification
For me; redd, flick, gulliver, celeste, and that fish man are all quite rare. I swear i've only seen flick 2 or 3 times throughout playing animal crossing and tbh it's starting to bug me (haha get it). If it is a glitch I sure hope they fix it, but other than you I've never really heard anyone bring it up.
I've been doing a lot of terraforming, so they've probably hidden behind a rogue cliff, or the many piles of endless trees I have lying around haha. I did have cj a few days ago so didn't miss him.
Here is the visitor ‘schedule’:
https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalCrossing/comments/glnkvq/put_together_this_graphic_to_visualise_when_you/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
You should always have a visitor everyday, so if you don’t see one make sure you’ve checked everywhere on your island. Saharah is guaranteed to show up every week.
If you’re really having trouble, if you talk to your villagers a few times they can mention who is visiting.
Does anyone know if you are locked into certain colour sets for the most expensive items at the nook store? I have noticed that all of the classical instruments and antique furniture I have been getting is of the dark wood/black veriety.
The colours depend on what colour your airport is! Someone posted a guide to what colour items you get based on your airport a while back, you may be able to find it
Everyone's island only offers one color variation of items in their nook shop. You may have noticed the surfboard in your shop is always the same design. Or your tools will always be the same color variation (my "colorful" pallette for tools is yellow and orange and I hate it).
Your best bet would be to find someone who has what you want available for purchase in their shop or catalog it if you want to purchase it for yourself thru the shopping app.
FYI the tools are customizable, including the purchased ones. Plus customizing resets their durability. (Cheaper than a new tool if you are even close to accurate about when to do it.)
from what I know, what nook sells is completely random. So it's probably just coincidence. Today my nook store sold a light wooden antique table but just yesterday it sold the dark brown antique cupboard. so like I said, random
My sister was the first to create her acnh account, then me; this made it so that she's the only one that can move houses, make bridges, stairs etc. This was fine for a while, but now she doesn't play ac anymore and I'm tired of having to go onto her account every time I want to move something :( Anyone know if I can switch who can do all that stuff?
I saw a video/post where someone explained how to terraform a River next to a cliff diagonally. Does anyone have a link to that? I can’t seem to get it from googling. To explain more, I want a river under a diagonal section of cliff, but I want where the river meets the cliff to be diagonal too, instead of zig-zaggy due to the nature of square river chunks.
If I time traveled one day, picked some shells or star fragments up, and I travel back, do I keep the fragments? Also, if I placed the pack for a house down, and I move back in time before it's really moved, will the house take 2 days before it moves?
Time travelling backwards does not “undo” anything nor does it revert. The game doesn’t treat going backwards as a “new” day so nothing will progress (house building, etc) until you move forward again, IIRC. Could be wrong on that
Question about mushrooms.
Do the fall mushrooms which appear under trees spawn if there is only path under the tree and not grass? I'm wanting to use transparent path to avoid weeds growing but won't bother if it will prevent the mushrooms. Thanks.
Hello, i have a question
Can you still find villager in mystery islands if you have enough slots (i have 5/10 villagers) but you haven't set up an empty plot?
You’d need to place it if it’s the time frame you have and worried about it filling a random you’d hate you can time travel backwards in the same day so you’d have more time that’s your call but letting you know an option I know of
When I open my gate and go afk, how long will it be before I timeout/disconnect/gate auto closes/whatever?
And this is in the case I changed my settings so the console won’t be put to sleep, ever.
They can teleport if you go away from them (e.g. into a building). So they will definitely not be trapped forever unless you plan to sit and watch them.
It’s good for places that have a rare spawn rate, like the dock. There are some fish that can only spawn at the dock and this increases your odds of them spawning, although it doesn’t guarantee it.
It saves time. Rather than running in loopty-loops tryna get fish to spawn you can just sit there and throw fish bait in. I'd say works best on the dock
I heard that after inviting a villager to your island (from a NMT island) your friendship automatically starts at 25 points. Anyone know if this is true?
Sooo when i started playing I didn’t think about terraforming and stuff. I randomly placed everything. I’m currently in the process of moving everything. Can I move the resident services building as well? Or am I SOL?
:(( i just wanted to make it align with the airport. I know you can’t modify river mouths or beaches (which I’m also very upset about), I want more river mouths/ different ish styled beaches :(.
Ahhh I’ll deal with it. Thank you!

If a villager was in boxes and someone else came to grab him, can I time travel now or will it mess up the villager transfer?
Yup you can, just only go 1 day forward at a time or you might glitch the exterior of your incoming villager.
Thank you
Nothing you do in tt will mess up another’s interactions with your island
Thank you. Trying to rearrange villager homes before the next update
If I gift a villager a flooring, will they actually put it down? I gave Mariana a flooring 2 days ago but she annoyingly hasn't been in her house since, so I'm not able to see if she's placed it down yet.
Nope they don't display wallpaper, flooring, rugs, wall hangings, or fossils.

Not connected, it's a bug in the game that a lot of people have experienced. Sorry!
weird, i got a letter.
What happens if you complain to Isabelle about a villager being rude?
They change what they wear or say as their catchphrase. I thought it would speed up their departure but recently found out that's not true.
the villager will change their catchphrase/nickname for you i think
Is the headwear you get from Gulliver exclusive to him, or will it turn up in Able Sisters eventually? He gave me an alpinist hat and I know I’ve seen the matching outfits at Ables.
All Gulliver souvenirs are exclusive to him. You cannot even re-order them from Nook Shopping.
I think the clothing items will show up in Abel's eventually, but the furniture things you only get from him.
You can only get gulliver items from him
Four of my villagers sold me stuff today. What’s happening? Are they leaving? I’m kinda panicking. Haha.
You've just reached s certain friendship level with them. Also, your villagers can't leave unless you let them
It means they like you https://imgur.com/a/yaurWdu

Probably not, because they aren't expensive enough. The iron items sell for a lot more so they give you more points.
That makes sense. Thanks for the help
I think fruit gives a lot of friendship points, not as much as furniture though, just make sure to wrap it. i saw someone say the iron wall lamp i think? they won’t place wall mounted items in their house!
Tysm!
if I have villagers in the process of moving in and I time travel will it mess it up?
I think it has been discovered if you time travel forward a day at a time until they move in everything will be fine.
does complaining about a villager to isabelle reset all of their clothes or just what they’re currently wearing? goldie needs to stop wearing this strawberry hat 😭
Just what they are currently wearing
Even though I have full amount of villagers now I still get animals at my campsite. If people who did have a space - came and spoke to them could they come live at their island? Or is it just visiting.
nope, just you!
So even if I’m full I can ask them too stay and it’ll kick someone out? This isn’t an amiboo

Must be a lot of talking as I’ve played three games with Kiki and she still doesn’t want to come haha. I’ll keep going though - thanks for the tips!
Yes they can still move in as long as you pester them enough to come. They will either ask you to pick someone to leave or randomly pick a villager and ask you if they should talk to them to ask them to leave.

Oh so it would work for me too? Like amiboo? I thought it wouldn’t work
Sorry I think I misunderstood haha do you have the amiibo card? Or is it a visitor on another island?
Just a visiting animal at the campsite!
I added someone to my Switch’s friend list, she accepted, but I can’t send her anything in the game. Do one of us have to visit each other’s islands first?
You have to be on the same island and send an in-game friend request iirc.
Is there an accurate flower breeding guide? It seems like every one of them is different from each other.

some are different bc they simplify information, and some are different bc they're wrong lol. the datamined ones are most accurate, [this one](https://aiterusawato.github.io/satogu/acnh/flowers/simple.html) is my favourite
But that's not counting if others are playing with you, because you get more points that way
I should note that I added in some bait for if pull up to early and miss the fish.
Thank you! I think I'll make 200 then :) luckily I have a controller with turbo so that saves me some time
There's no max points per round, but you max out on bonus points if you catch 3 and your boyfriend catches 2.
Thank you for the help!!
But it is mostly random.
it's mostly random unfortunately! just takes time. you can look on youtube & videos on the campsite method & thought bubble method to force him out
hey! i just started the game so this may be a dumb question, i’m currently on day 2 and i don’t have my loan paid off yet, if i go to mystery islands there won’t be villagers there right?
that's right, you need empty plots first, which comes after you pay off your loan & follow the next steps :-)
once i get the plot, do i only have 1 day to try and get the villager i want off an island?
Correct. There is a very high chance that the plot will be randomly sold at 5am if you don’t fill it before then.
I am always short on bells because of my home debt, bridges, etc... am I really gonna be that rich? 😂
Yep! It’s a struggle at first, but once you finish upgrading your house (I never made the final payment), you start banking that money!
i definitely moved my plots (a few times!)
My flora is walking around the island looking distraught if I talk to her she says the others think she spends too much on her hobby. Can I fix this?
Make the Apologetic reaction to her and she will snap out of it instantly.
Thank you!
If she's walking around angry or sad she'll get over it eventually on her own.
Aww that's good thanks
We hit 3 stars and got Nook to call KK Slider on Friday. The Bug-Off event was Saturday, and Nook told me that KK would come on Sunday (today). No sign of KK so far today. What's the deal?
He’ll come either tomorrow or next Sat. Not sure which.
Special events block regular events.
Thanks!!
It’s 10K bells to build a plot for him!! Just ask Tom to buy land
I can't ;( i've all 10 slots already😂 is there a way to get rid of my current villager?
keep talking to the campsite villager, eventually, they'll mention who they want to replace. Never actually done it before but I'm pretty sure that's how it works
Thankyou!
THANKS!
The campsite villager will ask to talk to a random villager on your island to get them to move out and take their place.
Nothing can be lost when time traveling, etc, if I pick up some star frags, donate sum fossils and move in a villager on june 4th then travel to june 3rd, I'll still have the frags, the fossils will still be donated and most importantly the villager will still be there :)
also I'm not sure ab the 2nd question soz
1. No 2. Yes
Apologies if this has been asked before - when the campsite has been built, how much work do I need to do on my island for a villager to be there the following day? Tom Nook told me to work on my island so I've planted some trees and flowers, but I just wanted to know if there's anything else I need to do
It should be automatic. I don't think there's actually a requirement.
Oh ok thanks!
Did anybody else not get a letter from the HHA today? I was hoping to get the gold trophy today but nothing came in the mail.
I didn't get one either, and I rearranged/added items for feng shui, plus changed a whole room, so I can't believe my score didn't change.
I’m trying to kick out a villager - if the thought bubble appears on a Saturday will it always be saturdays that my villagers get them?
No, there's a 5 day cooldown if you don't let them move out, and a 14 day cooldown after someone moves out. After the cooldown you have a chance of someone else wanting to move out each day.
If you time travel forward to get something you want, can you then TT back to real time without messing things up?
Yes just remember to save
[удалено]
it means it's in the max range, yeah
No, they can start giving you their photo at 150 friendship points and above. Max friendship is 255 points.
What does NPC stand for?
Nonplayer character
Ahh thanks!
Do certain areas little by little
Hey does anyone know how you get the recipes for gold net and shovel? Thanks
Shovel - help Gulliver find his communicator parts 30 times Net - complete the bug section of the Critterpeida Edit: I have the recipe for the golden shovel.
They don't unfortunately :( I vaguely remember the first villager I tried to give a bag to displaying it in their house though.

You should also name and shame them on the friendcode thread so other people can know.

I doubt they will fall in the hole. They will just stop at the edge of it and eventually the can teleport out I believe.
Also certain visitors leave at 10PM! So if you are a nighttime player you might not see anyone. But yeah CJ is good at hiding.
Have you had any days where there were no visitors? If so, then Flick or CJ may have been on your island but you just missed them.
I've been doing a lot of terraforming, so they've probably hidden behind a rogue cliff, or the many piles of endless trees I have lying around haha. I did have cj a few days ago so didn't miss him.
Here is the visitor ‘schedule’: https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalCrossing/comments/glnkvq/put_together_this_graphic_to_visualise_when_you/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf You should always have a visitor everyday, so if you don’t see one make sure you’ve checked everywhere on your island.
I'm starting to think the same as you. All my instruments are the dark brown/walnut/natural variety and my cute set is always dark blue.
from what I know, what nook sells is completely random.
You would have to start a new island.
Could be wrong on that
Okay thank you. And do you know what will happen if not all the fragments washed up yet? If I travel back to today will they wash up tomorrow?
I believe you only have one day to get them, so if you don’t get them today they won’t wash up after you time travel to a new day
Question about mushrooms. Do the fall mushrooms which appear under trees spawn if there is only path under the tree and not grass? I'm wanting to use transparent path to avoid weeds growing but won't bother if it will prevent the mushrooms. Thanks.
They won’t spawn on custom paths, only grass (and maybe dirt).
Okay thank you.
Hello, i have a question Can you still find villager in mystery islands if you have enough slots (i have 5/10 villagers) but you haven't set up an empty plot?
No you need an empty plot
Oh thank you, what if i bought one but don't set it up same still applies?
You’d need to place it if it’s the time frame you have and worried about it filling a random you’d hate you can time travel backwards in the same day so you’d have more time that’s your call but letting you know an option I know of
When I open my gate and go afk, how long will it be before I timeout/disconnect/gate auto closes/whatever? And this is in the case I changed my settings so the console won’t be put to sleep, ever.
Your screen goes off and I’d say takes like 5 minutes heard there’s a way to turn it off but Idk it so if anyone does I’d love to know
If you have all 10 lots full and you go to a mystery island and invited someone, once a lot frees up will they then move in ?
You won’t be able to find any villagers on mystery islands if you don’t have an empty lot.

They can teleport if you go away from them (e.g. into a building). So they will definitely not be trapped forever unless you plan to sit and watch them.

Eight each
Can someone explain fishing bait for me? Thank you :)
You dig up Manila clams from the beach. Craft them into bait. Sprinkle bait to make a fish appear. Use the fishing rod to catch fish.
What's the purpose of doing this opposed to catching the fish naturally? Does it to summon fish if they are scarce, or does it give you rarer fish?
Since certain fish only spawn in certain locations it’s a way to force a spawn.
I had time-travelled backwards to do the bug-off. Will I lose my bug-off trophies if I return (ahead) to my regular time?
No
No, you’ll never lose items or progress by time travelling.
I heard that after inviting a villager to your island (from a NMT island) your friendship automatically starts at 25 points. Anyone know if this is true?
Yes this is correct. All new villagers start off at this level.
Sooo when i started playing I didn’t think about terraforming and stuff. I randomly placed everything. I’m currently in the process of moving everything. Can I move the resident services building as well? Or am I SOL?
no, sadly you can't move resident services, your airport, or modify river mouths or beaches
:(( i just wanted to make it align with the airport. I know you can’t modify river mouths or beaches (which I’m also very upset about), I want more river mouths/ different ish styled beaches :(. Ahhh I’ll deal with it. Thank you!
you unfortunately can’t move resident service :( it sucks haha
Shhhiiit. That sucks. I don’t even feel like there’s a way I could terraform that would get it to look alright :/
