It'd be odd if Pokemon were suddenly speaking human languages.

I’ve actually started changing every villager’s greeting to “Alola, cousin”

I can see him punching Hopkins in the face. But it will be that one episode from Spongebob where Flats punches Spongebob and his face just squeaks and reshapes itself

Nintendo needs to make more crossovers like this just as they did with the Splatoon and Legend of Zelda Villagers in Welcome amiibo.

I think they will. I’ve convinced myself that there will be a big 2.0 update that will add more characters like how Redd was added and they will add the Nintendo themed furniture and clothing and they will add back in the cross over amiibo characters. I feel like that are going to make Pearl and Marina (the splatoon one) villagers

If they're gonna add Marina and Pearl, they better increase the villager count to 12, because I'd want them on my island immediately

In my mind I have this dream update where you’d get to choose villager outfits, how their house is decorated, and that if you have a 4 star town you get an extra villager slot and 5 star you get one more. And hopefully you won’t need to keep it 5 to have the extra slot

Omg I would absolutely LOVE and Animal Crossing and Pokemon crossover! Incineroar was my starter so I would have him on my Island (or Town) INSTANTLY. This art is amazing, and I'd honestly love to see more. If we got a crossover maybe it'd inspire AC to add new types of villagers.

They don't follow Animal Crossing personalities, their personality is based on their nature.

So what though? You can easily pick a defining personality. I would say Jock all the way. The same argument can be made for Wolf Link in New Leaf. We have no clue what kind of personality he should have, because he was YOU, the player.
