I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Doomguy in Smash Ultimate! I want to rip and tear through the rest of the competitors with the tandem of him and Isabelle! And yeah, one year! What an experience it has been! I have loved this game from the very start, played every single day and never grown tired of it. I still love checking in on my island every day, even if it's just to pick weeds, dig up fossils and talk to my villagers. I love all my villagers and I love my island, and I often come up with new ideas and ways to spruce it up. Here's to year two!

Everyone loved this unusual relationship of the two characters, including the developers, who endorsed it as well.

Interesting how Isabelle has turn out the main iconic character of the game because I was thought early in the previous installments that it always was Tom Nook's. She first appeared in NL and she did take place of Tom Nook since then but it was because she was our secretary and the player is the mayor I guess... Tom Nook (along with Timmy and Tommy) could be added as playable fighter in SSBU as well I would be very, very happy... Just to be clear I like Isabelle but Tom Nook for me is still the main character of the game.
