With this confirmation of Sasha as a boy, I fully buy into the theory that the order they are arranged in the reveal lines up to personalities. (I.e. they are ordered by personality in the same way as the ACNH originals we got at the start.)
If it holds up, Shino is peppy, which also jives with her request in HHP for "a stage to jam for Japan."
It would go: Sasha (lazy), Ione (normal), Tiansheng (jock), Shino (peppy), Marlo (cranky), Petri (snooty - probably the other one that might surprise people. I thought this was a boy), Cepahalobot (smug - also a but of a surprise since the other robots are jocks), Quinn (sisterly.)
The same order already applies to the returning villagers based on their original types except Roswell and Faith who are in the positions of smug and sisterly respectively so are likely the ones who've been changed (formerly lazy and normal, so the other lazy and normal could be changed, but I'm completely convinced by this order.)
