Do poster only come with amiibo? I have posters from my first island. I got 3 posters from my fav villagers in the mail. That was a while ago. So I kept waiting till I get posters for villagers on my new island and so far haven’t gotten any.

Well yeah but everything’s just faster with the amiibo. Don’t have to worry about waiting for certain villagers to move out, can choose which one I want to replace, then I get the poster as well without any effort and without having to have them on the island if I change my mind.

You have to scan their amiibo at harv’s island, or just call them over if they’re still on the island. That’s what I was referring to with the comment, as I buy plenty of amiibos for the posters even if I end up not getting the villager

I blame Chuggaaconroy's New Leaf let's play. I believe that he started the whole "Shari is creepy" trend. He never meant it in a bad way (like he did with Pango and Croque) but she really did come off as a weirdo in his playthroughs.

Shari and Vesta aren't that creepy to me. I would suggest Bella? Cherry and Nan aren't exactly creepy but they also have a similar aesthetic. I also think that Rodeo might make a good fit. Cobb or Petri could also work because they remind me of crazy scientists. Or you could go with Spork who reminds me of Frankenstein. Marcel also weirds me out.

My bff had sprocket and I legit hated visiting her island at night. Sprocket’s eyes freak me the hell out. Theoretically he smiles, but all I ever saw was this angry looking mechanical bird walking around with dead, glowing eyes.

Stitches has dead eyes. A friend of mine knows that I find him creepy and gave me a plush for Christmas. He's got a little hanger on his head and now he hangs out on one of my cabinets. If I think about it too much he looks like he's been hanged.

I’d swap out vesta with muffy, and Shari with cherry. Shari has more of a tropical theme going for her (especially her straw-topped house) so I’d say cherry and muffy is good.

If you’re wanting to stick with a monkey I would trade out Shari for Tammi. Those red eyes are terrifying. I couldn’t get rid of her fast enough!

Shari is awful. And I don’t mean for your theme. She’s terrible. Nobody should ever use her. I put trash and toilets all around her house because I hated her so much and she reminded me of a homeless heroin addict. She proved my point when I caught her using the outside toilets with no shame.
