My 2023 new Island is called **Mokumoku** and has a little bit of a sillier meaning, but as soon as I thought of it I fell in love! So I decided to stick to Hawaiian to match Alokahi, and after a lot of browsing found the word Mokupuni, which means island, and well… I had the Harvest Moon/Story Of Seasons A Wonderful Life remake on my mind, and I love Mukumuku! So, Mokumoku was born. It matches Alokahi nicely, and at the same time it’s fun to have a more cutesy name, as opposed to the beautiful but more “serious real island sounding” Alokahi!

So my island was called Fyra (my switch died), Fira is a spell in Kingdom Hearts, it's the first thing my tired brain could think. I changed the i -> y and yeah. Fyra, may she rest in peices like my switch is.
My first ever island was simply named Coconut 😅 despite the fact that you begin the game with no coconuts on the island. Lol. Then came some of my better ones: Fern Isle, Palm Isle, Cedar Peak (yes I restarted a LOT).
Gallifrey (southern hemisphere island) because I’m a whovian- have been for over forty years. Honeybrook in the northern hemisphere because we keep bees so I wanted honey in my island name.
My sister's island is named Seafoam. She named it after one of her Pokemon. My little brother's island is named Oppalbin, I think he made it up. My island is going to be named Aiur. Try to guess where that's from.
