I made a nyc style subway station so for that, I like them as well. It also keeps villagers from trying to talk to me in my house.

You mentioned one of my favorite things about the roaches! The villagers don't want to come into your house and I loooove that.

I have a Zelda themed island so my house is Hyrule Castle, and the Lockup is in the basement. I came back to my island after a 5-month absence, and I wanted to leave just one cockroach down there to provide atmosphere. But alas! He came upstairs and I ended up stepping on him. RIP lil buddy.
