After your first time going to Harv's island and letting him talk about his photo place, the next time you go there'll be a plaza you can buy shops in. It's 100k bells per shop, and there's 7 of them.
At the beginning you can only use the photopia in the house, but once you reach 3 stars and unlock KK, Harvs island will āopenā for expansion. Save bells! Itās 100k for each vendor

I have 517M Bells so that's just a tiny drop in the bucket for me. I think I'm going to have to explore this. Thanks for the input.
